A cross reference to verse 25: “That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.” — Acts 26:23 (KJV) Jesus was the first to rise from the dead in his fleshly body.....

1 Corinthians 15 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ²⁰ But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. ²¹ For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. ²² For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. ²³ But every man in his...

Jesus still maintained the same body He had when crucified...and He still maintains a physical body but it is a glorified body. Just as we will have a glorified body.... 1st Corinthians 15 explains it in such detail that there is no confusion as to what happens when we die.

Let's use Jesus death as a guide ...when Jesus died, He remained in his physical body until His resurrection. He told Mary not to touch him yet... “Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and...

Daniel and Revelation speak metaphorically...and uses symbolism to describe future events. Here is an excerpt of a study on Daniel 12. DANIEL 12 12:2 "those who sleep" There are several terms in Hebrew for sleep. yashen (BDB 445), which is normally used of natural sleep, but in Dan. 12:2, of...

John had been exiled to Patmos...and he was suffering in bonds much like Paul and Peter described for sharing the gospel and testifying of Jesus... John says 'I John, your brother (brother in Christ) and partaker with you (suffering the same persecution for his faith in Christ) in tribulation...

What gives man life? Genesis 2:7 tells us that man became a living soul (KJV). The word soul in Hebrew is nephesh, meaning “an animated, breathing, conscious, and living being.” Man did not become a living soul until God breathed life into him. As a physical, animate, rational, and spiritual...

If you continue he tells you he was on the isle of Patmos. 9 I John, your brother and partaker with you in tribulation and kingdom and patience [which are] in Jesus, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

I am just going to humbly agree to disagree with you. Have a blessed evening

"And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments… And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.” ~ Luke 16:23a-24 Send Lazarus? Father Abraham? I am in torment...

He is good at putting things on our heart that He wants us to focus on. I have shared this very thing with 3 or 4 people this past week... Be not conformed to the world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind...Romans 12:2

Which is so true... Devotionals are good for applying to a real life example as it relates to scripture. I had a Women's Study Bible a long time ago and throughout the Bible it would have a narrative of a testimony or example in real life and how that part of the Word applied to it. i miss that...

No I am not familiar...I can look it up. Thanks

Yes... A decision made in haste causes regret... A famous quote: Act in haste, repent at leisure. This is a warning to remind us that if we make a hasty decision we will have plenty of time to mull over our mistakes.

That is totally impossible...lol. I would never believe it if I did...I would assume an imposter had hijacked your account...haha.

Wynona's thread was very edifying the other day...and it brought some people closer after wards... This is the kind of threads we need to have going and keep them at the forefront... don't let those other negative threads consume the thread section that everyone sees first and clicks on...the...

Seriously? And I was really getting to like you.... Just remember there is good and bad everywhere...but what really saddens me is the imprint you have already made with some of us here and it leaves a void in our hearts when this happens. I do pray you will pray about it and reconsider.
