Jesus spoke of the present and the future...an example is when they all sat at the Passover...Jesus was speaking of a future event that would take place in that present generation.....He also reconciled past prophesy with the present....example when He said this .. Luke 4 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¹⁶ And...

This needs to be discussed privately. Thanks

Is it possible to consider letting this go and move forward? A wise teacher I had gave us an assignment to write a letter to someone who had offended us.... Our letter could address what was angering us but it couldn't say "You hurt/angered me when YOU did such and such"....instead we had to...

You're welcome and I pray you will trust there are more here for you than against you.... But MOST importantly....if God is for you who can be against you? The enemy will always wage war against you and on the forum he uses people to do it.... So the one who allows themselves to be used of Satan...

It was basically referring to how we let one voice rule our thoughts and actions when the majority doesn't stand in agreement with it...yet we don't speak out against it. Reporting it helps the staff keep that one voice from injuring the member it attacks which effects the rest as well.

The first time I attended my church I now attend I was grieved over the lack of the presence of the Holy Spirit in it...I would cry through service and not understand why...(I thought is was more my conviction in my heart of my weaknesses)...after a few visits I quit going...then my daughter...

Just wanted to point out that it isn't the majority of members accusing you of not being a Christian...one in particular...is there someone else? This reminds me of Madame O'Hara who was spotlighted in the media back in the 70's. She was an atheist and challenged the Supreme Court over violation...

Only problem is fig tree and palm tree are 2 different species. There is actually a tree known as the strangler fig and it strangles the palm tree by producing roots inside the palm trees roots...eventually choking it out....and ironically this is a metaphor in scripture.

Will do, Happy Thanksgiving.

This is how it can be claimed that He overcame the curse of sin and death.

It's going to be awful messy with all those bodies lying dead in the street for 3 days... I think the 2 witnesses is literal...

The event that Americans commonly call the "First Thanksgiving" was celebrated by the Pilgrims after their first harvest in the New World in October 1621. This feast lasted three days and was attended by 90 Wampanoag Native American people and 53 Pilgrims (survivors of the Mayflower). It didn't...

You have proved my statement about Jesus....Jesus was in His physical body while He remained for 40 days teaching. The angels had to materialize in human form, Gabriel took on human form... In other words, in the physical realm, they needed to be in a physical body to participate in it. And...

Hmmm well then reconcile the 40 days he continued to teach...he even sat and ate fish with the disciples.

The Lord rebuke that foul demon... Sister I have cleansed my house a few times when evil spirits had entered..(usually by someone my daughter brought to the house)...but I would just go room to room and command any evil spirit to leave and plead the blood of Jesus over every doorpost and loose...

I shared a word God gave me and one thing He said is His children are being attacked fiercely by Satan's evil demons ..if you want to read the whole thing it is in the thread Word for 2022.

That is great news! I think I will just do my happy jig now!
