@Behold Your words are more offensive than MEMES… Have you reported your own behavior to the “MODS”? Cc @Heart2Soul

One Creed to live by and die for...

If that’s what you conclude, that’s a private interpretation. And If this were true, the Apostles would have sounded like you and your partners in their inspired writings. I’m familiar with the Apostles voices, but your voice sounds foreign to me. “And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he...

One Creed to live by and die for...

I see you still haven’t found: “Jesus is God” :crossword:

One Creed to live by and die for...

Really? Compare the following two scriptures please: GOD CANNOT BE TEMPTED “…God cannot be tempted with evil…” (James 1:13) JESUS WAS TEMPTED “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have...

One Creed to live by and die for...

No. Only because the Bible says: “…Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

One Creed to live by and die for...

@Enoch111 Furthermore, the context of “manifest in the flesh” can reasonably mean God’s attributes manifested in Christ. @APAK covered this kind of thing in different terms very well earlier. Better than I could’ve explained it…

One Creed to live by and die for...

To be “manifest in the flesh” and “come in the flesh” are not quite the same things. But at first consumption your scripture does grab attention.

“Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.” (Psalms 40:4)

One Creed to live by and die for...

If it were “baby believer” stuff, it would have been spelled out in “baby” terms. Something like: “Jesus is God.” It wouldn’t be hidden in ambiguous language. Even the Apostle Paul called what you boldly proclaim as “clear” like this: “…the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ…”...

One Creed to live by and die for...

@Behold All of those scripture citations aren’t evidence. You’ve just been taught that they are… None of the scriptures elevate what you believe nor warn the saints that heretics would deny the “god-man”.

One Creed to live by and die for...

Why is it that the most serious warning in scripture regarding the Antichrist is destitute of the words: “deny Jesus is God”? You cannot superimpose your assumptions into the text. That’s a grave error.

One Creed to live by and die for...

It’s foolish to hijack and assign scriptures to your assumptions… But it sows discord amongst the brethren: “These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked...
  15. Michiah-Imla

One Creed to live by and die for...

Problem is there’s no scripture to support this assertion. This is what the Bible says (let’s stick to that): GOD DIDN’T COME IN THE FLESH, CHRIST DID “…every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist…” (1 John 4:3)...
  16. Michiah-Imla

One Creed to live by and die for...

Correct. Not being God. Only in the “form” of God.

Black racist reparations panel in California approves up to 1.2-million-dollar payments to blacks living in Ca.

Flattery in elevating man is a powerful tool. That’s why I ignore flattering speeches out right. If everyone stuck to this principle liars would have no audience.

    Update on recovery

Stay on the right path brother. Keep reading the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible rescued me from the path of destruction. Just don’t let the Bible “scholars” of today ruin it for you. Stick with the King of the translations!

Why does Jesus seem to condemn longer prayers used to please others and be accepted by them?

Much of the audible group prayers that take place in church groups seem (to me) forced and amount to nothing more than flattery and vain show. The most annoying one is the one that starts with, “Lord, give me the words to speak…” I’m thinking, Don’t you have a Bible??? But then they proceed...

No, it’s talking to us. I wouldn’t continue believing that error if I were you…
