Reminder to pacifists everywhere; remember the rules while you are being beheaded. Don’t be racist. Don’t be Islamophobic. Patiently wait for the police to come to arrest you. Use the experience to share with others to bring unity in embracing multiculturalism.

@Armour of God showed stats to the country. Frequency v Severity.

A few years ago I read a book Atheism on Trail. The author brought up ancient arguments on both sides. The human condition is such that ALL moral issues have to be re-visited by each generation. Some like to flatter themselves that capital-S sheds light on the truth. Fact is, there are...

To summarize, women and old people get into more accidents due to being distracted - but they are minor. Men, while getting into fewer accidents, get into more severe accidents. Severity v Frequency.

^ Brilliant. A flaw in feminists focus on outcomes is that given the same opportunity, women make different choices - and there's nothing wrong with that. Women should make choices to maximize happiness, not to fulfill feminist utopia of equality. And they are, which explains why many women...

I don't agree with that. Men and women are like forks and spoons; they go together and are best suited for different things. Just like who is the GOAT in sports, comparing men and women depend on the standard used to measure. You are right that F1 results is a great standard to measure driving...

She's a misadrist. Any differences between the sexes must show women are better and any claim to the contrary is misogyny and shows the delicate male ego.

As always, you have things backwards In dealing with a brute, who is inclined to club you while you make an argument. As a pacifist, you have no answer to his clubbing you.

The author of Wild At Heart had a podcast last year talking about a heaviness the enemy has cast on those with spiritual discernment. Fascinating that a year later, you are experiencing it still.

Yea. Barry Bonds should be disqualified for the same reason. I'm very ambivalent on this topic and consider it a measure of commitment. My understanding with Armstrong is that it was less drugs and more super oxygenated blood transfusions. What is a drug, anyway? Unlike soccer, hockey can...

I must have missed that. We agree on the conclusion. Praise be. joy:

You apologized over a mere matter of fact while holding onto an error in reasoning. If you don’t realize that you’re doing that, I feel sorry for you. I suggest you re-read what was already written on the matter.

My pick is Wilt Chamberlain. He had a compelling argument against Jordan, saying when they change the rules of the game to counter Jordan's dominance, then we'll talk. Goal tending and other rules were devised to diminish Wilt's dominance. And there was no 3-point line when he played. Jack &...

The origins of the Crusades was a call by the Pope. From that speech, I'm sure the mobilization of forces took time and were centered in many places. The Templars are one group among many. Yes, when they say they are a religion of peace, that is in their world view that Islam is a house of...

You apologize for the smaller error while holding fast to the bigger error; the lack of evidence is not evidence. Supposing so is an error in reasoning of a type that is so well known since ancient times, it has a name, Appeal to Ignorance. Why do you hold on to this error in reasoning?

Who God is, is a warrior.Ex 15:3 NLT The LORD is a warrior; Yahweh is his name! REV Yahweh is a man of war; Yahweh is his name.

Logic is a powerful ally. Unlike morality, logic doesn’t require context, only the absence of word play. For instance, saying ”Tyson is the baddest boxer on the planet” means the opposite; he’s the best. Some suppose God operates outside of logic so doctrine can be ‘supported.’ That is...
