The Son of Man returns with and for his people

Quote for us the NT Scripture that promises the Hebrews lots of kids, lots of crops and peace from enemies.

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

That is the last reference to an Israelitish kingdom in the entirety of Scripture. The disciples never again brought up the subject. Unlike dispensational futurists, they saw the light.

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

Because of unfaithfulness and disobedience, they were chosen to be dead.

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

The diaspora was "elect sojourners" in the Greek, identified as Christians, as shown previously. With your superior competence in Greek, you should easily be able to confirm that. God is not a racist.

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

Yes, the Church is the People of God, the Sons of God, and the Children of God. And if you check, you'll find that sons and children are people.

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

There is only one people of God. They are those faithful and obedient to Him and His Son. They are His Church. They are named as the exclusive heirs and joint-heirs with Christ in His New Will and Testament. No others. The Hebrews in Christ's New Will and Testament are those in His Church...

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

Which verse of 1 Peter 2 is talking about the Hebrews?

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

God slew unfaithful disobedient descendants by the thousands. He didn't choose the dead. Yes, they were required to be faithful and obedient, as were the Jews.

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

Does Acts 10:34,35 deny it? The NT elect is exclusively the Church. Nothing to be confused about.

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

What do you think is the verse under discussion?

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

Are you still whining about God's rewrite of His Will and Testament? Leave it for those who are grateful for it. His NT Chosen Holy Nation. His Church.

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

Surely you jest. Where have I ever denied that? I've repeatedly quoted Acts 10:34,35. In contrast to your continual attempts to racialize and restrict God, His Gospel, and His Church into something that you've most recently termed the "Hebrew experience".

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

You choose a race. God chose the faithful and obedient of every race. You continually strive to forget that Israel was comprised of both Jews and Gentiles. God was not and is not a racist. Stop trying to contort Him into one.

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

I said: "Cite the Scripture in which Peter is describing only "part of the Church". You said: "Cite the Scripture in which Peter universalizes the Hebrew experience". So what were you saying?

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

"Ye" is the Church. Naught else. God is not a racist. 1 Peter 2 5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but...

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

You've been shown repeatedly and unmistakably that Peter applied the descriptions and blessings in that covenant to the NT Church, in 1 Peter 2:5,9. Israel is completely absent from his discourse. God is not a racist.

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

Hebrews 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. Which covenant do you choose? Old or New?

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

The gifts and the calling are terms associated exclusively with those who have put their faith in Christ. They have nothing to do with "nation" or "land". Upon whom does God bestow His gifts? Romans 12:6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy...
