The Son of Man returns with and for his people

The Church is not the "Hebrew experience". It is the Christian Experience. God is not a racist.

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

The Church. I've described the grammatical connection between "ye" in 1 Peter 2:5 and 1 Peter 2:9. "Ye" is the Church. But unsurprisingly, you still don't get it, and probably never will.

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

I thought we were discussing 1 Peter 2:5-9. Where are you?
  4. C

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

To repeat: Cite the Scripture in which Peter is describing only "part of the Church".
  5. C

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

    Why isn't that a problem?
  6. C

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

Why are you racializing Peter's description?
  7. C

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

I made the point previously. If God was dealing with Israel as a unit, He would have slain the entire nation when one individual sinned. But He didn't. He dealt with each individual, individually.
  8. C

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

How long did the division last in the NT Church?
  9. C

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

You claim that Peter's description is "of part of the Church".
  10. C

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

Restricting God to "part of the Church" is racist. God does not restrict Himself to "part of the Church".
  11. C

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

First you acknowledge that "this is true of all believers in Christ". Then you opine that Peter's description is "of part of the Church". Which is it? If the latter, cite the Scripture in which Peter is describing only "part of the Church". God is not a racist.
  12. C

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

Sorry I overlooked you. Describe "sidestepping".
  13. C

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

Only to you does it sound like that.
  14. C

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

So that they wouldn't get left out.

    The Covering Dynamic

All the same saints. Galatians 6:16 Greek 2532 [e] kai καὶ and Conj "c. it joins to partitive words the general notion; so that it is equivalent to and in general, and in a word, in short: ὁ Πέτρος καί οἱ ἀπόστολοι, Acts 5:29; οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς (καί οἱ πρεσβύτεροι Rec.) καί τό συνέδριον ὅλον...

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

You mean that Peter was writing to people, not to places?? I never knew. :D
  17. C

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

I'm appalled, bro, at the utter lack of, and in fact antipathy toward, understanding of so much of what is basic Christianity. It's no wonder that so much of the evangelical church today is ineffective and impotent. Darby Scofield et al will have much to answer for on Judgment Day. But...
  18. C

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

    Blessings to you as well.
  19. C

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

I presume that you agreed with the sentence preceding that one.
  20. C

The Son of Man returns with and for his people

Go back and read the primer. There are no promises for anyone, Gentile or Jew, who is not in Christ.
