Just don't have time to waste a day at the moment with a sore arm after the covid jab.

Z?

It's so sad how some forced others in the past to convert to Christianity, forcing others never was the right way, God gives everyone a choice.

I am not rushing to get vaxed and I am too busy at the moment. Scomo is a legend! :p

@Marymog I saw you have came back, welcome back to the site, correct me if I am wrong, but I think you may have became a Catholic as an adult, because I recall you saying in another thread you went to a protestant church at first but did not agree with the way they did communion at that...

@Mungo what about you? Did you become a Catholic as an adult?

Hmmmm, it's sad what has happened throughout history in Western nations towards indigenous people, history can be shocking, USA, Australia and Canada, it's crazy only now they had just discovered these graves in Canada, I don't know whether if stuff happened to the indigenous in New Zealand...

I haven't really followed this story much, but just saw a shocking post about people burning Churches in Canada in an act of anger. Addy as sad as it is, there is disturbing history from other Christian denominations too doing un-Christian things, remembering people who were took into slavery...

Hmmmm interesting read, how long does a Liturgical cycle go for? And if you were baptised as a Christian previously before but not in the Catholic Church do you have to get baptised again?

However from what I have seen, Costa Rica may be a safer country than USA, I think it's one of the safest countries in Central America and the salaries in Costa Rica aren't that bad.

Now for a Catholic related thread of a different kind, I did ask this question on another thread, but didn't really get a proper answer for it. I am just asking out of interest. What is the process for an adult to become a Catholic? Is it easier for those who are already Christian of another...

 that's pretty nasty, and such little time to evacuate.

Wow that's quite a disaster. Unfortunately that's when the bad fires happen when there's a long heatwave usually.

Yes exactly, the Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement is growing.

Unfortunately to name a few there are doctrines within different denominations of protestantism of - Cessationism (this has to be one of the worst doctrines imo) - Sabbath keeping (must rest every Saturday) (There are also those that think you have to go to Church every Sunday to keep your...

Anyone who knows. Some are traditional and similar, some are more "casual" and don't have has much liturgical structure and a few don't have any ritual.

Yep I just did!!! I got caught red handed by you. LOL!
