A good point. Consider Luke 16:9, what will heaven be like if we are alone there?

I expect he is trying to keep his country's and the west's confidence in their victory. Otherwise morale will drop and foreign military support will cease as other countries cut their losses. His role right now is the yappy dog, barking at the intruder.

The Democratic vote and support for leaving the Ukraine may not have been enough to make it legal. Much like the justification for the US civil war, succession is a national concern, not just regional.

Yes, though it must be more than lip service.

I agree with your theory this was a command specifically to the rich young man. I believe there is always a requirement to put God first in our hearts. If something is given a higher status in our hearts it is an idol that needs to be knocked down. We may be personally convicted to give up...

Backed up with scripture too.

I have faith in Jesus Christ, and believe he will save me and all others who believe in him. A salvation culminating in eternal life with him in heaven. Which is presently realized in our spirit. But by the day of the Lord should also be soul and body.

They used to sell live chicks dipped in dye at easter from what I heard. Surprised that isn't done anymore.

If God solved this problem would that be taken as an admission of all the underlying propaganda that created the problem?

Jesus' water baptism was "to fulfill all righteousness." Priests were required to ceremonially wash for their initiation. So this day he became high priest in the order of Malkizadech. And the descending of the Spirit upon him may have been what you say, his empowering for ministry. Because...

Who told you that?

If I didn't understand your meaning correctly others will not as well. Waging war against the flesh allies of the evil spiritual forces sounds like a call to physical violence in order to resist evil. If we are to consider eternity, the war is already won and Jesus already has the victory...

I have to say this is my favorite hymn.

Not scriptural. Revelation 13:7 shows us power was given to the beast to wage war against the saints and to overcome them. God's idea of victory involves the death of saints, because for them death has no victory or sting. And Ephesians 6:12 specificly says we are not fighting against flesh...
