Once people realise they are in Hell, there is an infinite desire to stop sinning (even in Hell). Babies and children are particularly good at stopping sinning, because they have no investment in a life of sin (at their age). So, the idea that God is torturing them (as you would assume, for...

Wow. Counter-stipulation (the ten commandments were "stipulated") - I never would have thought of that.

NDE accounts are spurious for one reason: what we do in Heaven, we do together - that is, we do not get there and look around on our own!

Hi there, So I contend two things, here: one that the Holy Spirit reminds us of Jesus' Cross; two, that the inactivity of the Church, will lead to the battle of Armageddon. The concept I want you to understand, is that the world, in whatever state it is in, needs to see evidence of faith. When...

I think there is something to be said, for "phases of Evolution" endured together. The idea that Evolution has to go it alone, is a dated one - it does not give room to the Evolution of the pack. The pack hunts better than the lone wolf - nature testifies to that. How much more then, for the...

What if the times have moved on, and Mankind has not understood the pressure to change its Evolution? Will faith be scapegoated for holding humanity back? The Devil understood where he had fallen? Maybe there needs to be a new word: "for the love of Evolution"?

I came across an interesting proverb, that speaks to the idea that there is one truth which explains everything else: The thing I like about this proverb, is that it remains open ended - there is no forced conclusion to the idea that "life" is 'something'. The painful thing about Evolution...

Beautiful words!

It's not wrong to be in the Garden of Eden, if you don't know why you are there (selah)

Have you prayed that you be counted worthy to escape the things that will come to pass and to stand before the Son of Man? Jesus asked that you pray this always.

Hi there! So this is just an exercise in commitment. Your life is going to end. You can try to end it, yourself. Or you can end it, in the Holy Spirit. The typical life to aim for is the good life - three score years and ten (70 years). At some point, even if you don't get the good life, your...

And the Holy Spirit was aware that there was room in us, for Him.

I understand that you get this perspective from the scriptures, but the choice between 'hot and cold' is not a choice between 'hot' and 'lawlessness'. To be spiritually cold, is welcome, as far as Jesus is concerned - if only because it is better than being lukewarm. I'm not sure how to make...

This last part stuck out to me, particularly. You are right (or the author is right) the Holy Spirit is our strength. We ought not boast in ourselves.

It is as I have been saying - we need to pray that the rapture be great and the tribulation limited Jesus said "pray always that you be worthy to escape the things that are coming to pass and to stand before the Son of Man" (gospels, from memory)

Yes, but Jesus isn't saying "choose between hot and sin"? Jesus says "choose between hot and cold"!

Hi there, So this is just a short thread OP: I am concerned about advertising. It always seems to be exactly what I am interested in. I don't even type this stuff in, like "I like plant protein" and yet here it is: 'would you like plant protein?' and I am interested in plant protein! I am...

I think the thing is, you want cold churches to invite cold people, and hot churches to invite hot people.
