    Are You Dead to Self?

Oh sister...I'm going to do a podcast on that very thing...2 Cor. 5. ;) Of course this will be a deeper spiritual understanding teaching as opposed to what people normally read into the text. What else would it be??? :)

    Are You Dead to Self?

Yes. We have definite advantages over those who had the law as a tutor. That even sounds like a school...the school of the law..like grade-school. And the New Covenant by grace is like high school (the higher walk ;)) But the exams are harder in high school than in grade school. So then there...

    Are You Dead to Self?

Can a person be righteous without also being holy? Of course. But who will listen to what the bible says about it? Few indeed. Acts 10:22 And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man (righteous man), and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned...

    Are You Dead to Self?

Well all I can say is that mercy and truth are not the same thing, Grace and mercy are not the same thing, atonement and forgiveness are not the same thing...and what we can do in our own strength is not the same as what a saint can do in the power of the Spirit. A one dimensional walk shows...

    Are You Dead to Self?

You are refuting Paul in Romans 7. And you do sin...maybe not in a way that is physical or obvious...but then again the Pharisees didn't recognize anything they did as sin either...yet EVERYTHING they did was tinged with sin. Paul was very sensitive to that. unlike those who remain in Romans 6...

    Are You Dead to Self?

Jesus said that we didn't need anyone to teach us...and by necessity that's all I had...and it was very good that I was forced to go to God. No man understands these things. So my experiences with God make sense as I read the testimony of the New Testament. Putting that together with the...

    Are You Dead to Self?

Of course a disciple can be dealt with by the Lord without understanding all the ins and outs of God's way in Christ. Paul is relating his testimony in Romans. It's too easy to misunderstand Paul into thinking he was inventing a doctrine to just believe in rather than be explaining what will...

    Are You Dead to Self?

I follow Christ and I read the bible. :) Testimony is better than theology. Testimony is real experience...theology is based on suppositions. Romans 7 is about Paul discovering a deeper sin within him. Sin revived and he died. 1. The Old Man is the old self. The New Man is Christ. 2. When we...

    Are You Dead to Self?

I'm using only biblical terminology. The New Man is Christ that we put onto the inner man. The outer man is the old clothing. Christ is the new clothing. Again, death is separation...becoming disconnected from the carnal sin nature. If you read Romans 7 it talks about not being able to take on a...

    Are You Dead to Self?

The bible goes much deeper than this. Jesus was crucified. We are also called to be crucified...pulled apart...our bones out of joint. We KNOW the Spirit by the 1st cut. We can be led on that level. But we are only EMPOWERED to walk by the Spirit after we are pulled "out of joint" ...from our...

    Are You Dead to Self?

There are two cuts....separation from the world...and then separation from the flesh. Two river crossings in the salvations of God. Have you watched the video? Also Heb. 4:12 is not just about separating the soul and spirit but also the joints and marrow (bones)....2 steps. The soul has sin...

    Are You Dead to Self?

Death means a separation. Cutting a covenant means there is a dividing taking place....like the veil of the temple. So in a biblical sense....the veil "died"...death for the veil...life into the temple. Being crucified actually is to be "pulled apart" That separation is a death as well...

    Are You Dead to Self?

But can it? Without something to compare itself with?

    Eternal Life is Now!

This happens all the time from Greek to English...where words are translated so that unspiritual people can make sense of it. This is true. Out of the abundance of the heart....

    Eternal Life is Now!

Although a spiritual understanding could contradict our interpretation. The bible we read is only a translation...a TARGUM...as the Jews call it...not the actual word.

    Are You Dead to Self?

Would you believe???..."It's no longer I"?

    Eternal Life is Now!

Like when the flesh is disparaged...the carnal rise up to defend it. :) It shows where some people live from!

    Are You Dead to Self?

In this time of delusional doctrines and man-made traditions, we are called to walk the separated path - to lose our life now in order to gain it, now and into eternity. Our outer man covering is meant to be sacrificed in order to have the hidden inner man liberated and strengthened from...

    Eternal Life is Now!

    I think that's the point... :oops: :oops::ummm:

    Eternal Life is Now!

Not...I am of Paul. I am of Apollos... But people reveal their true selves by how they criticize others. All this.."self" and "works" defense shows that something is very off. They have a human logic approach to the bible...but human logic doesn't make one born of the Spirit.
