    A Curious Question For Non-Trinitarians

Well, Jesus came about because God implanted His seed in Mary's womb. I don't know if that would be considered as having been created. God created Adam perfect and Adam blew it. All of Adam's descendants wore born with the same sin nature as Adam. Genesis 1 goes out of the way to emphasize that...

Were the Church Fathers Sent by God?

That's what I'm thinking brother, but there is a lot of faith that many Christians put into what the Church Fathers said, so I was wondering if they had any real authority to say the things they said. Personally, I don't any think any of them, as sincere as they may have been, were commissioned...

    A Curious Question For Non-Trinitarians

Google "shaliah." It is all about how the ancient Hebrews, as well as all the other Ancient Near East people, understood agency. Jesus was God's perfect agent. As God's agent, he always said and did exactly what his principle, God, told him to say and do. There are tons of agents God used...

Were the Church Fathers Sent by God?

Strong's Concordance definition of Apostle: G652 ἀπόστολος apostolos (a-po'-sto-los) n. 1. a delegate. 2. (specially) an ambassador of the Gospel. 3. (officially) a commissioner of Christ, “apostle” (with miraculous powers). Paul said many times that he was an apostle sent by God. 1 Cor 1:1...

    One and Triune God.

Since I seem to be upsetting so many of my brothers and sisters, I think I'll bow out of this discussion. I love you all. Thanks for your stand with our Father! :)

If spirituality means throwing logic and the meaning of everyday words to the four winds, then yes, I do have a distinct lack of spirituality. BTW, I thought Jesus was given the power of judgment of who is lost and who isn't. I didn't realize there were others, such as yourself, given the same...

Teaching the Bible to K through 3rd Grade

There are many who object to DeSantis' bill that prohibits teaching sexuality to K through 3rd grade children. Many folks think the children should be taught sexuality. I wonder how many of these same folks would think it equally OK to teach the Bible to those same kids, especially in light of...

    One and Triune God.

I think I already told you I don't know everything about the scriptures, Matt 11:11 being one such verse. It's just a little unclear to me. However, I do understand 1 Cor 8:6; "But to us [there is but] one God, the Father, of whom [are] all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by...

Yes what? Not sure what you meant. Does Eph 3:9 say God did the work Himself, or did He do it through Jesus? If He did it through Jesus, then Jesus acted as God's agent. I know of no other agent who is the same person as the one who hired the agent.

Then stop debating with me. Problem solved.

Lot's of people are both fathers and sons but nobody is their own father as the trinity claims.

Just because something is an institution does not make it Biblical. We got God's word through various men who God inspired to write (2 Tim 3:16). God did not need an institution to communicate His words any more than your or I need am institution to communicate the words we speak. The Koran...

Well, you yourself said, "2 distinct persons," which I've been saying all along. "The Alpha and the Omega" are titles. The title "Lord" is also applied to both God and Jesus as well as several humans. Then there is this: if you look carefully at Revelation 22 you will see that is was actually...

First of all, I do not mean to disparage Roman Catholics. I wouldn't dare guess who is God's child and who is not. That is up to God. I love all Christians, regardless of denomination. Nobody, Catholic or Protestant, can go beyond what they are taught. That much I understand. An institution is...

Yes, I understand, but any comment on the actual material in the post? Does Ephesians 3:19 say God worked through Jesus, or does it say God did the work Himself? Does 2 Timothy 2:15 tell us to study the Church Fathers and Catechism, or does it say to study the scriptures? Just telling me to...

    A Curious Question For Non-Trinitarians

Wickedness compounds because a dear child of God might make a mistake? Do you know it all? If not, why are you not compounding wickedness? I'm starting to see a lot of un-Christ like behavior here. Not that I'm perfect. The only perfect one is Jesus, but we can and should do better than...

    One and Triune God.

Well, I see that Jesus is Lord of Lords and King of Kings. That's in Rev 17:14. I also see all things created THROUGH Jesus. Eph 3:9, And to make all [men] see what [is] the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus...

    One and Triune God.

Rev 21:4, And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. This tells us exactly what the former things are, i.e., no more tears, death, sorrow, crying...

Any comment on John's stated purpose for writing his Gospel? John 20:31, But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. Why do you suppose John didn't say, "that ye might believe that Jesus is God"...
