I absolutely detest politics. But I was convicted that I haven't been doing enough to defend the seventh commandment, ever since Elder Finley made the LGBT address about a month ago. .

So you traded 10 commandments for 1,050 that contain 9 of the 10 you traded in. And now you're "under" that. The 3rd commandment is not given in the NT, by the way. I wonder why Paul would quote the law (Deuteronomy 27:26) to justify the nullification of the ten commandments in Galatians 3:10. .

Like, for example, the 9 other commandments besides the fourth? Are you "under the law" when you refrain from murder, theft, adultery, or idolatry, etc? Which commandment do you suppose is violated by same-sex marriage? Would you like to see us out from "under" that one? Where there is no law...

Magnification cognitive distortion—there is no hate expressed toward a person or people group in the video. .

I won't, either! But I will warn them of the danger of using Colossians 2 as a loophole to justify a 10% discount on the Ten Commandments, especially since the Hebrew in Leviticus 23:37&38 clearly distinguishes between the festival sabbaths and the LORD's Sabbath of the fourth commandment. So...

Funny; Paul seemed to have a different idea about that: 2Ti 3:15-17 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for...

Some of which would be relevant if I were trying to defend "Ralla's definition." I'm not at all sure why you think I'm concerned with the micro ethics of who and who is not claiming anything about their relation to "gender." In the arena in which we now find ourselves, I'm only concerned with...

I'm willing to admit that I bear some guilt for the great gulf that now seems fixed between us. And, for that, I am sorry. But I'm not copping to murder charges for bloodying your nose. .

Which does absolutely nothing to help determine the definition of "woman." And I can't imagine why I would ever possibly need to. .

No, not all women are able to, and it doesn't mean a thing in terms of defining the word "woman." Birth defects, epigenetics, and other anomalies do not determine the basic definition of "woman." Amass all the wicked sophistry and wordsmithing you can manage, and it doesn't change what the...

NO I made a comment about the unreasonable expectation of frequenting threads about sexual perversion and never being challenged when promoting unbiblical views of sex. But when one can't find a hot perversion thread to troll, they can always just hijack and swerve the topic of a political one...

And... when someone spends most of their time on the forum pointedly antagonizing folks who conscientiously defend God's expressed design for human sexuality they're bound to meet with some impassioned opposition. Calling that defense "hate" in a sweeping generalization is just selling punches...

I can speak for myself, thank you. English is my first and only fluent language. I didn't say nor imply anything about Trump, because I don't have much to say about him. So there's no need for you to interpret and restate what I said as having anything to do with him. My point was that your...

Oh, and because nearly all of your participation takes place in threads where it's likely to come up. That might have something to do with it, too. You're not kidding anyone but yourself. .

BECAUSE .

I can't answer a question that's been intentionally made impossible to understand. I was just trying to speak your language. .

No, the question "what is a woman?" is itself not an invalid question. The question that is asked to "provide a definition of 'woman' that actually cover(s) all women" is not only invalid but, in all likelihood, dishonest. .

How can someone define what a woman is if that definition must take into account that which is yet unknown? In order to satisfy the requirement that it would include "all women," the definition would have to be known before it is determined. This is the height of absurdity. How can we possibly...

Any reason to suspect it should have? .
