    Understanding MPD/DID & SRA/MK

Another question - I have an appointment with a mental health nurse tomorrow and was going to ask about a cPTSD diagnosis - have not been in their hands so far. Is this wise? I have found a private therapist on phone.

    Understanding MPD/DID & SRA/MK

I am 74 and shocked that so much is coming out at this age! I was 10 months when taken into hospital seriously ill from 'teething powders' and many babies died from it. I have been sick since then. I have a vague memory of looking into a side ward with a metal cot besides an open window my...

    Understanding MPD/DID & SRA/MK

Just want to say hi as I work my way through the thread (page 55 now). A question, I had severe trauma starting as a baby when dumped in hospital with mercury poisoning )more on that later) then a dysfunctional family, mother probably narcissist, then two abusive marriages, second husband a...

having a lack of motivation from my medication

Hi, most medications cause imbalances of nutrients these days especially in the typical diet, so there are things that will ease withdrawal like thiamine but all b vitamins are important. Also a very large group of people are finding that high vitamin A due to weaker livers causes all sorts...

Friendly Bible Study - participants must agree to Nicene Creed.

I did not mean to start a row, but as there was little/no response to my earlier statement I though it might help to describe the situation, not as regarding the doctrine of the Trinity. The original ban is regarding the divinity of Christ is it not? Surely another question.

The Christian Cross *Trigger Warning* Controversial Viewpoint

The cross being a symbol of torture is only one part of the story, as we are to see ourselves as crucified with the Lord Jesus and therefore it becomes a symbol of our salvation - us on the cross too.

Friendly Bible Study - participants must agree to Nicene Creed.

If I could just add a few things about the Nicene Creed which was a statement of faith, which might explain it a bit: It was produced for the First Council of Nicaea in 325, from the only church around at that time, the Orthodox Church, which was found both in the east and in the Roman Empire...

Heb 4:12: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The Born Again = Have No Sin.

My view of sin, is that it is a state, as opposed to the state of sinlessness, whereby one is restored to the position of that of Adam, not only as he was before he fell (innocent), but as if he had eaten only of the tree of life, gaining zoe life. It will include the thoughts. What is yours...

The Born Again = Have No Sin.

@Taken Sorry I did not read whole thread. Many claim they do not sin because they wrongfully apply the verses for the perfect to themselves when they have not been perfected. Romans 7 was written for believers stuck in unintentional sin as Paul reported, not in intentional sin as an unbeliever.

The Born Again = Have No Sin.

Wrong. They did sin till the Holy Spirit dealt with them in Romans 7 and delivered them to go into Romans 8. Those still in Romans 7 are in for a shock when He returns. The chapter is for believers.

Yes you can count me in Carl. I love to study scripture but will try to avoid pointing out where Protestantism differs from the early Christians (a lot). My journey began at age 23 (74 now) so last year was my jubilee year. I was raised by atheists in a non Christian culture in NE England. I...

    Bible Study

Still cannot see how this is connected, as the subject I am questioning is about the Creed, not the fact of the Trinity and why it was altered, whether this is in accordance with scripture to refuse to obey elders of the church.

    Bible Study

The Trinity rule is about arguing over whether Christ is a created or non created being, right? This is about the Holy Spirit being co-equal. Is that a specific rule? Please cite it thanks. Failure in understanding theology and doctrine is the bane of the age we are in.

    Bible Study

It is not about the Trinity, it is about what is scriptural or not. The early church, which did not include it in the Nicene Creed, were certainly not non-Trinitarians. John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which...

    What makes a doctrine false?

The person who opened the church door wide open to all sorts of error was the Bishop of North Africa, Augustine of Hippo as he departed from the early church teachings on a number of issues and has been one of the greatest influences on the church since, both Catholic and Protestant. Luther and...
