I give Him all the praise for opening my eyes to understand my fellow brethren and their beliefs. I had to realize I can't make a person eat the meat of the Word when they don't have the teeth to chew it yet.:D In other words, I share what I have learned with love and humility...remembering that...

@BarnyFife this is the only way I know how to get you here.

Well it certainly falls in order right in between Genesis....so he must have....imho.

The thing that opened my eyes is that the events of things wasn't contained to the one chapter all together like it is in the KJV... Example Psalm starts out with the 1st chapter and continues so far then another book comes in order with other books following then Psalms pops up again . .

I downloaded the app on my phone... I was looking through it just now and it goes by a daily reading teaching....day 1 through day 3 is Genesis 1 through Genesis 11..... Day 4 through day 15 is Job 1 through Job 42....then it's back to Genesis....day 16 through day 29 is Genesis 12 through...

I have a Chronological Bible that has everything written in the KJV in the order it happened in time. It gets confusing after reading the KJV all these years. But it's an accurate account and no scripture was changed.

I really like this saying because it helps us understand ourselves in our weakness to sin. "We are not sinners because we sin... We sin because we are sinners." In other words our sins isn't what makes us sinners for we are all born sinners without ever committing a sin. But being born a sinner...

Don't forget to read this 12 O'clock Midnight

The Holy Spirit spoke to me and said "at the midnight hour".... So I searched scriptures about the midnight hour and then I found this article....so many things happened at the midnight hour in the bible. I hope you would take time to read it. I believe He is telling me God is working in the...

I have included the church in my thread but I just don't want it to be a Catholic bashing thread and become a heated debate between the Catholic members and the Protestant members because Rev 17 is more about kings and nations.... in my opinion

Please....don't assume or presume anyone is being mislead....as I already presented in an earlier post...I brought this to the forum to gain a deeper understanding of Rev 17....go back and read a few posts and catch up with the rest of us.:)

I didn't claim to believe what those articles said. I presented them for discussion.

Above that...:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I will not debate with you...I am sincere in my search and you are a hindrance to that when you start directing the topic in a totally different direction.

My spirit agrees with this...so there must be truth in it.

Is it? I am not so sure. It is even contended that New York City is mystery Babylon.

FYI...this thread is NOT about the Catholic church so please do not turn it into one. Here are the main points. 1. Mystery Babylon...who is it 2. She sits on the city of 7 hills/mountains..what city is this? 3. Surrounded by water 4. Made rich with the merchant ships 5. Other nations are drunk...

Don't assume the articles I presented are my beliefs. I presented them because I sought feedback from the forum. I didn't care for much of it as well...however their was historical facts presented that opened my eyes to the suffering of those who went against the church. Now let's make this a...

I am fixing to listen to it now.

It takes about an hour of you walk through the whole scenery...they have buses and carriages that take you from point to point.
