Amen...and it has taken all these years to finally accept myself as one with the will to do what is right but at times fail to do it....that has led me to rejoice ever more that I have a redeemer who lives in me and who became the righteousness of God for me. There is so much weight that has...

I just wanted to add....AMEN brother! You are blessed with much wisdom and understanding of this!

Thanks for your input brother...that's how I thought as well....however I have considered this further...through my trials and tribulations in life which workers patience I also found times where I had to have faith in God in areas I had never experienced before.... What He did in the beginning...

Let's examine "fallen away"... Now are you curious as to why it doesn't say "if they sin again it is impossible to renew them again unto repentance?" Even Jesus told us to pray daily the Lord's prayer which includes "forgive us of our sins as we forgive those who sin against us"... We are...

Good OP...I was just starting a thread about faith....Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith...what does this actually mean? I didn't want to derail your thread so I started this one...it ties in well with what you have said. Here is the link: Jesus is the author and finisher of our...

Philippians 1:6 has always given me comfort in knowing that He will complete the work He began in me... I have thanked God continually in my life that He continues to change me...from glory to glory...by His Word and the Holy Spirit.

I have been looking into this deeper as I have read it, quoted it and assumed I understood it's meaning. Then I decided maybe it goes deeper than what I understand. For time's sake I am doing a copy and paste from this link. I agree with what this author has explained...and notice the speaker...

I remember that song.

Absolutely...the Jericho March...singing praises to the Most High all along the way and after going around the walls of injustice 7 times we will shout His Praise and the walls will fall.

He hasn't replied yet...I had to communicate through his email and Facebook page...called his office but all I could get was a recording..."we are experiencing an unusual high volume of calls at this time. Please visit our website and email us with you questions or comments."

Yes! I let them know if they didn't stand against this coup that it simply speaks to me that they are in the cesspool as well. I ended my comments saying...I have to wonder Senator....did YOU win re-election for the Senate seat fair and square? How will I ever trust you did? This is one who...

He would have to resurrect all those he caused to die in their sins because his only purpose is to kill, steal and destroy. So I believe he is carrying their sins as well...

@Base12 good to see you! So besides the use of "set" or "make" which depends on which translation you are quoting....did the main point of the OP make sense to you?

Actually, I changed it back and included make because other translations use set....both words are within the same context of each other.

Okay....point made, point taken I will change the thread title.

Amen! It is time to celebrate Jesus return coming soon!
