That is one of my very favourites :) But they missed the second half of the verse .."They shall rise up on wings like eagles ...etc ♥︎

Especially carrots and tomatoes the most. I still remember when sweets (candy) was rationed after the war. And a quarter lb of dolly mixtures cost two pennies!! Q . What was your very first memory?

Yes I have ...once in 2005 and once in 2015. Its not my favourite thing to do!! Q. Did you used to read your children stories at night.

YES!! Totally Agree...that is why I said earlier in this thread that I personally found him to be 'a mixture' the older he got. I too was annoyed with that statement of his that you quoted ... I thought.." Hmmm so England , France , Denmark are just fine...why just "America" picked in his...

Amen. Excellent post 100% agree. Esp re The Talents

"Going to be" ? :D I did not know that they had stopped. LOL We started a house church in 1972 I have always believed that it is the way.

Good word , true ... I always believe when there is a stagnant time or a dry time...it is time to forget self and what we are not, and start to PRAISE Him for all He is... That blows the cobwebs away and keeps our focus on the His victory, and off of " how am I doing".

It may not last...we had a big one , but then out came the sun next day and it was slush...now it is dry again except in the gardens and fields , but the sidewalks and road are good. Hope you get the same. :) Nice here again..zero :)

Good word. Like when Satan said to God.. " Does Job serve you for nothing" I have used that to my husband when he gets blue and miserable. He says :- " I pray and nothing happens " etc... Then I say...So, you don't just love God just for Himself but for what He does for you or through...

Zoned out.

Good, but mine is Romans 8:2-3 "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the...

Amen !!

Totally agree... And just like Paul said- " reckon yourself dead to sin..." I believe that we first start doing the faith thing..."acting as if it is done, just because He says , it is done, not because we 'feel like" it is. We take the first step...and He jumps to meet us... We walk by faith...

:) A little more refined than just saying..." No guts, no glory! " :D

It obvious that I need a recliner!! I have an armchair .. A. My favourite salad is a green salad with lots in it , like a sprinkling of raisins, coconut flakes, and even an apple cut up too. Hmm maybe that makes it no longer a green salad :D Q. Which was the happiest day of your life? ( you...

@Hidden In Him Just interested . ..If you did :) you would get a smiling face.. ...but when you post : ) like you do..you don't get the yellow smiler. ...OR are you making a gap between the : and the ) on purpose ? :) :) :)

Good post and agree. First we get the commercial Christmas ..and children grow up just interested in presents . Before my dad was saved in in 1949 I had no idea that is was a Christian celebration. I thought it was just the day Santa Came and left things in our stocking. Then, as a young...

Now with that we are in total agreement. I heard last week that some 'Prophet' was saying that next year will be a year of clarity for the Church. I said to the person..."Oh yes, and where did that come from? It wouldn't be that next year just happens to be the year of 20 20 (vision) would...

A. No never, cracked a rib once and that was a real OUCH which lasted a long time. :( Neither have I broken anyone else's bones. :D Q. If Jesus came to you in the night and said you could ask Him just one question...what would it be?
