Mmm. Something else the Jews and today's futurists (not all) have in common. Just as the Jews didn't recognise their Messiah when He came, so also do many today go chasing after the next celebrity speaker and the next false prophet to await the rapture. Both the Jews and the futurists (all of...

With the above being your current conclusion, then I suggest you are listening to the wrong people.

Interesting lack of response to a current event that is gripping the world and the focus of debate among so many disparate groups. A current event that is fulfilling Bible prophecy, and is ushering in the final events of human history. I observe many long discussions on the rapture, Israel, on...

I agree that the mark itself is still future. That doesn't negate the possibility of many now having the mindset that would welcome the mark when imposed, and may even now be practising the very form of worship freely now, but which will later be enforced and cost the lives of those who refuse...

It's compliance with a spiritual paradigm, man's traditions in contradiction to God's commandments. And in answer to your earlier question, yes, Revelation is quite clear that there is a group described as keeping God's commandments and having the faith and testimony (the spirit of prophecy) of...

Hold on there, you are looking at the statue with a preconceived theory as to its identity, as being a "manifestation" of the 4th beast. You are looking at the 4 th beast and going back into the statue in order to justify a wrong conclusion. I suggest you simply take scripture as it reads, and...

I mentioned that I was returning to the. Lord, this after a few years in a backslidden state. I previously had attended a number of Pentecostal churches, mainly Assembly of God, but a couple of independent ones also, all told over a period of about 15 years. Whether it was my fault or the...

I have none but that which He has given.

Quote...Choice of doctrine is driven by religious preconception - That's a very generalised opinion. Here's some more explicit opinions... What if the last person who taught them was Jesus? When I returned to the Lord 30 years ago, it was He Who said, "seek ye first the kingdom of God and...

“For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. ” Romans 7:14 KJV https://www.unfeignedbible.app/Romans.7.14

Reason for The Crusades? Is an interesting question. What I've read so far in this thread is a Catholic defence for waging war on those with whom they disagreed. Not a Christian practise regardless the motive. Let us not forget that the Islamic invasions didn't threaten Europe until the middle...

What was the "OT" Sabbath for? Why was it established? Because it was a legalistic requirement? Just an arbitrary commandment from a dictatorial God like the false pagan gods demanding appeasement?

Mmmm. Strange how you can turn faith into a legalistic requirement.

Agree that keeping the Sabbath doesn't save a single soul. Not sure why you would make such a statement as if Sabbath keepers are somehow confused over the matter, or are actually taking Saturdays of work for the sole purpose of being saved. Do you have any evidence for that? Have you ever come...

It is finished. Whatever it may be. But He hasn't finished with you.

As I said above, only the beast itself can define its own mark. Today within Christendom, outside of the SDA church, there exists not a clue as to the identity of the beast, therefore absolutely no idea as to what it's mark is. What we do have is a heck of a lot guesswork and an endless list of...

And will you be at the front of the queue to condemn Sabbath keepers when the Sunday laws are established?

Where in any of this current conversation have I quoted Ellen White? And why should I fear Sunday worship,? I worship every Sunday. Nothing wrong with that. Why do you fear keeping holy the Lord's Sabbath?

And just so you know, the new heavens and the new earth will be populated. As Jesus promised, the meek will inherit the earth. The question is, when? At the second coming? No. At the beginning of the millennium? No. But at the end of the millennium, after the resurrection of the all the sinners...

1 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. 2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the...
