I think this is a reference to indoctrination, that is done by the Holy Spirit. While other may tell us the words, only the Spirit enables us to take them to heart. “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord . “I will put my law in their...

What I'm interested in is spiritual influences upon perception. Be they for good or ill. But before we get to the spiritual, one I neglected to mention was indoctrination. This seems to be the tool by which spiritual influences affect perception. Although by itself I don't consider...

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5 NIV

So a perception in this context is our interpretation of the actions of others to fit them into our own world view. Some reasons for this from human nature: 1. People can fit events into patterns they recognize from their experinces. 2. Perhaps they may also internalize it, in some twisted form...

This is painful to watch. I emphasize with your loss and desire for healing. May Jesus restore her to health and may you both accept what he has done. Accept her absence.

Could God restore everything without suffering? No, I must conclude it is impossible. But we have this: ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4 NIV

Victory in Jesus Christ Amen!

Can't we tell what is demonic by their limits and modus operandi? In one of Jesus' rebuke of the pharisees he revealed a house divided against itself will fall. This is true concerning God's house and Satan's. In my understanding of the spiritual, this is even more so in the heavens than on...

The trend has been towards Facebook communities, which I don't trust to uphold religious freedom. Its like putting the fox in charge of the chicken coop.

At work I named a rupture disk a rapture disk.
