THE MYSTERIES OF THE KINGDOM IN PARABLES

As for the parables, the classic parables in the gospels are just examples of the greater way that God has revealed much of what is true of the kingdom and Himself, in all scripture. For this reason there are foreshadowings and prophecies, and things repeated over and over to confirm matters to...

THE MYSTERIES OF THE KINGDOM IN PARABLES

Why do you contradict yourself? Both Jesus and Paul spoke of the kingdom of heaven--which Jesus prayed would be "on earth as it is in heaven." Even so, the old earth is to be destroyed with fervent heat and with fire, and the promises rather speak of new heavens and new earth.

Question for Catholics: Do you classify all non-Catholics as Protestant?

Your lack of comprehension is showing. PS, If you can receive it: He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has...

Question for Catholics: Do you classify all non-Catholics as Protestant?

These are the "highways and hedges"--and you are among those who bought oxen. But no, you have not taken Jesus at his Word, but have taken the way he said he would "not" build His Church.

Question for Catholics: Do you classify all non-Catholics as Protestant?

Jesus clarified what Peter was told by the Father, I have clarified what Jesus has told the His Church. Same, same. This is how this works--the exact point of the passage. But go ahead and laugh. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Question for Catholics: Do you classify all non-Catholics as Protestant?

Great, and you probably know your ABCs too, but that is not what this is about. I was addressing, or rather giving the cause and error of the Catholic Church. Which was to hear from Jesus how He would build His Church, and not understand that He is "not" building it by "flesh and blood", thus...

Question for Catholics: Do you classify all non-Catholics as Protestant?

You don't know me--and wouldn't know, and apparently do not know what you are talking about. Being born again of the spirit of God began when Jesus began returning to those who hear Him knocking and open the door. Paul described it as "we who are alive and remain" (alive in God, but remaining...

Question for Catholics: Do you classify all non-Catholics as Protestant?

Why do you find it so difficult to accept that those born (again) are spirit as God is spirit? (Rhetorical)

How does the resurrection of the righteous and the wicked on the last day work with Premillennialism?

I doesn't (work)...but, neither do any of the other 'isms. The 'isms are just a worldly attempt at understanding an otherwise timeless work of God. Which occurs at the end of each person born of the flesh, "but each one in his own order."

Question for Catholics: Do you classify all non-Catholics as Protestant?

Indeed, I am not arguing. But no, there were three named: Peter (flesh and blood), the Father (spirit), and Christ (Both flesh and spirit). Which Jesus clearly stated regarding the building of His Church, as being "not flesh and blood".

Is the Book of Job in Conflict with the Doctrine of Providence?

There is no demonstration loss of providence in telling the truth. In regards to the faithful, no none ultimately perish.

Question for Catholics: Do you classify all non-Catholics as Protestant?

The error of the Catholic Church (Roman or otherwise), is that Peter was not the means by which Christ would build His Church--"not by flesh and blood", but by the same means Peter received the knowledge that Jesus was the Christ--which was by our Father in heaven (spiritually). Peter was...

    Transitioning from BELIEVING to KNOWING.

While my part when fully known would seem great, God is no respecter of persons--we are all special in His eyes and each has an equally important part. In fact, I know that I am the least of those that might have been, and their death was gain. I am under no illusion as to the reality of whom...

Where do people get the spiritual authority?

Yes, the full measure of Christ is unto His body. The Restrainer is God Himself, but because the restraints come in the form of wickedness and confusion (even that confusion upon all language), His identity is not named as God--for He is not in the evil though He has ordained it all, both the...

    Transitioning from BELIEVING to KNOWING.

The transition from believing to knowing, does not come before natural death, if we are not willing to follow Jesus into that portion, while we are still living in this world. Faith is biblically defined as "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." However, to...

Where do people get the spiritual authority?

I wouldn't expect you to. And God does give us a choice of whether or not to believe who He sends, and you have made your choice. So be it.

Where do people get the spiritual authority?

It's just that you are adamantly stating things you believe that are not true--while what is actually true was sealed and yet promised to come just before the end. And if you knew where you were, you would not be "fine with it."

Where do people get the spiritual authority?

I was not stating what I believe, but what most seem to believe is not true. Most would say that no one of that generation saw Him coming in the clouds, so that is not actually true; and Him coming "soon" didn't seem to happen, so they say that is not actually true; and most don't believe that...

Where do people get the spiritual authority?

I was not quoting "mainline people", I was quoting Jesus.

Where do people get the spiritual authority?

Do you think I am going on and on for me? I am not, but for you. We are living in one of the most biblically eventful times in history, and you are making the same mistakes Israel did. I'm trying to help you--but you are every bit as stubborn as they were.
