They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

David, the first resurrection is the bodily resurrection of Christ, of whom man MUST have part in to be blessed and holy and to overcome the second death. Mankind MUST have part in the resurrection life of Christ before they physically die. That is why John writes of those in vs 4 of the...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

David, I understand why would want to ask more questions rather than answering those asked of you. The topic you raised is about billions of people after the thousand years of Satan's binding being deceived by him. If you try answering the questions asked, who knows just maybe these new...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

But what would be the effect of proclaiming the Gospel of Christ coming with the Kingdom of God if people who believe in Christ are still in bondage to fear of death as Satan was able to hold them in before the advent of Christ's cross and resurrection? How could the Gospel of Christ be...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

I believe the end of the thousand years is the end of time for proclaiming the Gospel unto all the nations of the earth because then the mystery of God should be finished, that is saying the Kingdom of God through the last Gentile becoming saved is complete. There will be no more people left...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

David, it has everything to do with the purpose for Satan's binding. Most Amills say Satan was bound so the Gospel could be sent unto all the earth. I don't disagree with this entirely, but I believe it doesn't fully explain how Satan, prior to his binding was able to hold Israel in unbelief...

Amillennialism vs premillennialism ......how & why ppl believe different.

The only foolishness I've read so far is a lack of understanding what promises of God for ever means! If you understood what forever means, then you would not continue to argue the land of Cannan belongs exclusively to Israel of Old after God promised to drive them from the land when they...

Amillennialism vs premillennialism ......how & why ppl believe different.

Since this seems to be all you really have to stand on, and you keep repeating it, perhaps you can explain how you define forever? Because it is my belief that when God makes an unconditional promise that is forever it does NOT mean we have it one day, and it's gone the next. For that reason...

Amillennialism vs premillennialism ......how & why ppl believe different.

Unless you read the prophets of Old through the light of the New Testament you will never be able to understand that which is of old and written in shadow, and symbolism. Do you know the Old Testament Prophets foretell of the Messiah/Redeemer who would come, the same One the Levitical Law...

Amillennialism vs premillennialism ......how & why ppl believe different.

EG, surely you can see it's the same Covenant God made with Israel of Old through Abraham regarding the land of Cannan? If you can't see that Joshua led them into the land of promise, and reiterates to them that as long as they remained faithful they would possess the land forever, then you...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

Where can I find Scripture telling us that billions of people shall be deceived AFTER the thousand years? In Rev 20 we read that Satan goes out to gather together Gog and Magog. How can they be Gog which is defined antichrists, and Magog which is defined antichristian party, if they are not...

Amillennialism vs premillennialism ......how & why ppl believe different.

Why would they need to repent to be restored if the promised land of Cannan was forever? You know to keep the land required discipline, as you've just said, then you deny what you've said?

Amillennialism vs premillennialism ......how & why ppl believe different.

I've already told you to read Joshua chapter 23 and you should understand the words spoken through Joshua proves that obedience and worshipping God alone were and always have been conditions for the nation of Old to keep the land of promise forever. This is how Joshua 23 ends: Joshua 23:16...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

If you're referring to the land of Cannan, called the Promised Land of Old, do you realize the twelve tribes of Israel inherited that land through Joshua and lost it through sin? God says through Joshua that every promise God gave to them of Old was fulfilled, and not one thing had failed...

They will reign with Him a thousand years and making an unknown Greek out of the English New Testament

David, you appear to live in the opinion that symbolic language of Rev must ALL be literally discerned, so I questioned whether or not you realize the Devil, serpent, Satan, dragon are all the same entity of evil that has been involved in the affairs of mankind from creation. Your understanding...

    Understanding the Unquenchable Fire.

Exactly! Which is why I pointed out the contradiction your understanding of this topic tries to force into the Word of God!

    Understanding the Unquenchable Fire.

Perhaps you're trying too hard? Where have I ever said those going into the lake of fire that is the second death "go poof"? I've gone out of my way to say there most assuredly is suffering and torment for those who go there, and that which is everlasting is death. Contradiction is apparently...

    Understanding the Unquenchable Fire.

Yes, separation from God, but it does not say the second death as the lake of fire shall not burn up whosoever goes there. The death or if you prefer separation from God is everlasting but the fire shall consume utterly whosoever is cast there.

    Understanding the Unquenchable Fire.

So why don't you believe Rev 20:14? Or do you say do, and yourself do not? The lake of fire is the second death! These two verses must be reconciled or there is contradiction found in Scripture. It seems you cannot reconcile them, which is why I do not support no suffering and torment at...

    Understanding the Unquenchable Fire.

Can you reconcile this verse with Rev 20:14, that there is not contradiction of Scripture? This is the problem with dogmatic beliefs, because IMO Scripture does not clearly confirm the opinion of everlasting punishment throughout.

    Understanding the Unquenchable Fire.

Yes, I agree, but in death is there eternal torment or utter and complete silence and darkness?
