I'm Hungry Right Now, What are you munching On?

My mistake. H. Salt sold out to KFC and went to pot, evidently. I don't know how many are still open or where, though.

I'm Hungry Right Now, What are you munching On?

We had H. Salt Fish And Chips in west Tennessee at one time. I think they went out of business years ago. They were good, boy. Now there's just Long John Silver's and Captain D's, unless you want to go on the hunt for a real chippy, which are few and far between in the U.S.

    Carnal Hypocrisy of Sabbath Commanders

Well, it probably sounds naive or corny, but I'm pretty sure the devil is after us, and I really don't want him to get anybody. Especially not if it turns out after all that it actually is my responsibility to warn (not "command" or "condemn") folks. I'm glad somebody cared enough to warn me...

I'm Hungry Right Now, What are you munching On?

This guy out here has a big building and goes year-round. I don't know how he does it, but we sure love him. He hit my daughter's car once with his big supply truck. Nothing serious. It was funny. My daughter could make friends with the wicked witch of the west. :p

We can't afford to buy it at the grocery stores.

    Carnal Hypocrisy of Sabbath Commanders

All I know is what I've learned so far. Best I can figure, the main thing is: "But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." On the other/same (depending on your point of view) hand, the 10-point law that defines sin, which we all broke in...

I'm Hungry Right Now, What are you munching On?

We're really gobblin' up the produce at my place. There's a little market down the road a ways that practically gives the stuff away. Last night for supper we had Kohlrabi fritters and corn-on-the-cob!

    Carnal Hypocrisy of Sabbath Commanders

Do you mean who, from the Bible, comes to mind? Because I was referring to the constant, triumphalist, self-approbating statements of divinely-established dogma in this and other threads from the OP.

    Carnal Hypocrisy of Sabbath Commanders

I can't understand why anyone would want to shun the memorial of God's creation as if it were some loathsome yoke of bondage. The first 20 minutes of this video are eye-opening to me, as regards God's loving watchcare over us. His providence is so beautiful and incredible. That He could love...

    Carnal Hypocrisy of Sabbath Commanders

I'm hauntingly amazed at how someone can be so fortified against the government of God. You speak of hypocrisy yet, while you say you no longer debate the perpetuity of the 4th commandment you, in fact, do so constantly. What other purpose could there be of initiating -FIVE- new threads...

Why don't Sabbath Day Commanders ever speak of the Inner Man?

I just did a little searching and found out that Mr. @robert derrick has started no less than -5- of these Deluxe Sabbath-keeper-trolling threads in the last 10 days. We've been punk'd!! (and none of your contemptuous, magniloquent gasconade is "confirmed") Bye, now!! m m

You should have seen me as a baby/toddler. The girls had to form two lines.

Why don't Sabbath Day Commanders ever speak of the Inner Man?

I'd like to visit your planet someday. Hypocritia, isn't it? Perhaps we should call fire down from heaven upon those who do not have the light on the Sabbath. On second thought, we better not. Jesus made it pretty plain of what spirit that is. I'm supposed to heel and answer your opaque...

Why don't Sabbath Day Commanders ever speak of the Inner Man?

Thus saith the Robert Derrick - rotfl. What a bunch of baloney! "Where there is two 'e's in 'judgment' there is no precept." :D:p:D:p:D:p:D

Why don't Sabbath Day Commanders ever speak of the Inner Man?

My Uncle Harrison would say "How adorable can you get?!!" That's me and my baby sister, Denise, on my birthday (if it isn't already terribly obvious). I think it was my tenth and she was two. We were on the island of Guam ("Where America's Day Begins") at Naval Air Station Agaña. "Denise"...

Why don't Sabbath Day Commanders ever speak of the Inner Man?

So you actually prefer your Sabbath-keepers to be "Sabbath Commanders." Too bad you can't find any. :( But you "no longer argue with those who teach a sabbath as commandment to be obeyed." I'm highly apolitical. NO REACTION TO MY ANSWER TO YOUR PRESSING QUESTION??!! I think you might be...

Why don't Sabbath Day Commanders ever speak of the Inner Man?

I'm now quite convinced that the only person you're kidding with this nonsense is yourself. All I did was restate your argument against the Sabbath in post #71, clarifying what it definitely implied about what constitutes a commandment of the LORD Jesus Christ to His church, which you are now...
