I suspect that the "Great White Throne Judgment" as described in Revelation is only imagery rather than an event

I disagree and its okay you still believe they have not. Thats what abiding Christ is all about. Allowing freedom for others to think and choose for themselves ultimately. It would be different if i condemned you or something in my opinion.

How should we view the Rich Young Ruler?

Its a wonderful thing to know that its the Lord Jesus who makes a person right with God through faith. The holy spirit is poured into the individuals heart by God himself. Through your entire life, you must make the choice to abide in the Lord Yeshua, with failures of the flesh along the way...

Is God sending people straight to hell when they die, today?

So is God sending people straight to hell when they die? In the old testament and when Jesus died on the cross, everyone went straight to hell. Is he still doing that today? With Jesus and his victory and hell being done away with, i dont believe so. It seems God has a place outside the now...

I suspect that the "Great White Throne Judgment" as described in Revelation is only imagery rather than an event

I do suspect that people will still have their “coming” experience when they die and leave this life. With outside and inside of the heavenly city being the find destination @ewq1938.

I suspect that the "Great White Throne Judgment" as described in Revelation is only imagery rather than an event

Thank you for sharing your viewpoint with me. Thats kind of how i see it. Jesus came and took his bride which they were taken away, as the judgement on material israel was had; and there was a judgement for satan and all those in hades, and it all relates to revelation 20 as the wrapping up of...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Right there with Paul when he says, I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. Its however Christ in me as the fulfiller of the Law that does the good, which...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Yet people wanna be noticed and get some type of credit for being nice to others… which is just an ego stroke in reality,.. James has a great lesson written out, “Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Some people wonder if I am even saved by my stranges beliefs. What is it to them? I believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and my dark hard heart was changed to a more lighter soft one. Even while praying to God i tell him i hate doing good things for people…...

Always be encouraged to investigate the bible itself compared to what man may think. Trust God and have faith, and he will show you truth, if you are paying attention.

I suspect that the "Great White Throne Judgment" as described in Revelation is only imagery rather than an event

Thank you for sharing your opinion with me. Its a joy to be able to read the bible. The Lake of fire is said to be in front of the Lamb. “he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with...

The Parable of the workers in the vineyard

Just looking for insights to what Jesus said.

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Its clear people can walk away from faith. Its a day to day choice to stay faithful to God. While people can pride themselves in being saved; it seems some can fail to realize even those who may confess that they are saved may not be truely saved. Remember when jesus talks about, the pharisee...

Is God sending people straight to hell when they die, today?

Somethings are better left unknown. The more you know the more grief, and sorrow comes with it. There is nothing wrong with studying and growing but everything comes at a cost. Just like the cost of being a disciples of Christ, while we can still have our own will; enjoy life, go to work...

Is God sending people straight to hell when they die, today?

My mom is 61 and didnt know about the lake of fire til the other day i explained it to her. I did get to also read her about exodus and going through all the plagues was a doozy. Lol

Is God sending people straight to hell when they die, today?

Thanks for sharing that with me. Some people come about these things way later in life, yes that is for sure. While that gave me a chuckle there is great value in it, in my opinion.

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

The best choice in my opinion is to die to sin, and become alive to God. And walk by faith, not by sight, and be in step with the spirit. Apparently though God will resurrect all people and each judged properly and given their reward. God will not be mocked. Those who reap to the flesh reap...

Is God sending people straight to hell when they die, today?

There is still a lot of study I need to do for myself; but in the end it seems that with the victory of Jesus over all things; God has set up a kingdom. Where People of faith are able to maybe enter in and partake of the tree. Its never promised it says “May” if you read it; thats the hope in...

Is God sending people straight to hell when they die, today?

I suppose that is why even in Revelation 21, and 22 there is a separation between believers and unbelievers. Really good stuff to read, though many people tend to push away the end time things as its probably for their benefit of not having to deal with it in general @Wrangler. My first time...

Is God sending people straight to hell when they die, today?

The great and dreadful day of the LORD was promised to come, upon the nation of Israel and judgement was gonna be meeted out for them killing the son of God. Which in a sense a Judgement day. Matthew 21:33-46 New Living Translation Parable of the Evil Farmers 33 “Now listen to another...

What happens when you start becoming dead to sin?

“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism...
