    "Before Abraham Was, I AM"

I'll repeat: NO ONE is going to hell because they didn't understand doctrine or a teaching of THE CHURCH... the church that has been around from the beginning...not one that was invented about 200 years ago. God IS the one true God. There is ONLY ONE GOD. No Christian disputes this. Which is...

    "Before Abraham Was, I AM"

I don't believe anyone is going to hell because they cannot understand the Trinity. I DO believe that a person MUST believe the Trinity in order to be defined as Christian. So are you Christian? Or do you believe Jesus was JUST a man?

    "Before Abraham Was, I AM"

How is God Father greater than God Son?

    Prayers For Brother Richie.

Miracles can still happen. God does not change. Praying.

    "Before Abraham Was, I AM"

Right. And so much other evidence. If Jesus thought He was God....and made statements referring to this.... THEN He either WAS GOD or He was a crazy man. Something the JWs don-t seem to be able to understand.

    "Before Abraham Was, I AM"

The I AM statement of Jesus had NOTHING to do with His other I AM statements. EXCEPT that Jesus is all of the I AMs EVEN the I AM signifying that Jesus is the same I AM that was in the burning bush in Exodus.

    "Before Abraham Was, I AM"

Whatever TazzJazz You think I'm going to debate whether or not Jesus is God with a member of a cult religion? No way. You can twist scripture however your group brainwashed you to believe. JESUS IS GOD. And the I AM statement is not the only evidence. And if the Pharisees thought Jesus...

Is it possible to lose salvation?

An earthquake wasn't mentioned. The tearing of the curtain was associated with the ground shaking. BUT it could have been. The writer seemed to think it was connected. This is all spiritual Berean. I doubt there's a real gate that has to be opened to let us in.

    Are You a Carnal Christian?

Right. And others study scripture ALL ON THEIR OWN and get a lot wrong. Works both ways BB.

It is what it shouldn't be

Kind of like cooking.... Coming up with the menu is the difficult part... the rest is easy.

Is it possible to lose salvation?

Walter, The other member said that Jesus' words are rubbish to those that do not believe. I'd say that God's word does not return void. Every word we speak re God will remain with the hearer and just might have an effect on them someday. Every word that Jesus spoke and that every writer spoke...

It is what it shouldn't be

Right...Can't think of what this is called right now. Wm Craig uses this method a lot. I guess it would be nice. But we can't all be philosophers! An OP can be a thought someone had that he'd like to share and get some feedback. It could be a question to which he'd like an answer to...

    WATER BAPTISM CAUSES DIVISIONS

So Jesus spoke UNPLAINLY for some time and then decided to SPEAK PLAINLY. I'm willing to discuss this too.... PICK YOUR TOPIC. PAUL AND BAPTISM JESUS AND PARABLES THE KINGDOM OF GOD Am NOT discussing all this all at once. Sorry.

    Are You a Carnal Christian?

Yes sir. Plenty of verses stating that a believer can go back into the world and become as lost as he was prior to his salvation. Peter 2:20, which you've posted, is an excellent scripture regarding this. Unfortunately, OSAS had entered into the Christian dialogue and this teaching is...

    WATER BAPTISM CAUSES DIVISIONS

Hi Advantageous.... Never read such a thorough treatise on baptism! I'm going to have to come back later and copy and paste this. It's worth saving in my theology files. I haven't read your posts, but have you ever looked into why infants were baptized in the early church? It's interesting if...

    WATER BAPTISM CAUSES DIVISIONS

Skipped many of your replies. This is what I'm willing to do: Pick a topic...for instance Paul and baptism... and we'll discuss ONLY that. I cannot remember if I stated that Paul said we MUST be water baptized or if I said that Paul TAUGHT water baptism. Big difference, and this type of...

    WATER BAPTISM CAUSES DIVISIONS

What kind of a weird God od we have? First He allows Paul to persecute Jews and THEN He decides to use him for the gentiles.... I'm sorry Doug, but your theology is very lacking.

    WATER BAPTISM CAUSES DIVISIONS

The NT speaks of a MYSTERY. The mystery that was revealed is sthat the GENTILES were also going to be included in salvation economy. This back and froth without scripture (on my part) is unsatisfactory to me.

    WATER BAPTISM CAUSES DIVISIONS

You're saying Jesus didn't know He was going to die or why. And I can't handle this one sentence thing. You're addressing too many arguments at one time and each one would require more time to reply to. JESUS KNEW He was going to die on the cross. HE KNEW WHY.
