Luke 11:9 - “And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” Jesus tells us not to stop after we pray. Get up and look for what you asked for. You will find it if you seek it...

In this season, God is giving out new "out of the box" ways of doing things. Don't get set in "your" ways, but learn to embrace His ways. What does this really mean? It means not to think as the world thinks. Do not accept what the world calls normal. We need a fresh Gospel mentality that is...

Matthew 15:14 - "If the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch." When you start pursuing God's vision for your life, sometimes you have to change who your close friends are because you're not speaking the same language anymore. Priority requires that there...

When things are going a different direction, we have to know that our identity is -- to fellowship with the Living God. We were created to fellowship with Him; and that is to be so intimate, that wherever we are, we feel His breath, His hand, His pleasure. We feel the brush of angels' wings...

We must lie under the authority of every word of God, and we must continually affirm our oneness with Christ -- "walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called" (Ephesians 4:1) We cannot honor God more than when we are "humbled at His feet to receive His word"...

The Lord wants to use us, because He said: "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." - Luke 10:19 If Jesus wants to talk today, He's going to have to use your mouth. If He wants to rebuke a...

We received our spiritual faculties at the time of our salvation. It is our responsibility to develop these by spending quality time with the Lord, and by cultivating their use. "He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increases strength...But they that wait upon the...

As I open my mouth wide and sing for joy to God, my strength, He gives me abundant provision to satisfy my needs. (Psalm 81:1,10,16) How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord. My heart and flesh sing for joy as I long for your presence. (Psalm 84:1,2) I am blessed because I know my strength is...

Be aware that the enemy would come with distraction after distraction only to rob you, and deposit within you despondency and numbness putting you in a sense of shock and longing -- not know which way to go -- to the left or to the right. In times of trouble, call in His presence, for where you...

We must count it our blessedness and highest dignity to be in covenant with God -- esteem this as our greatest honor, that God is our God. If when we are persecuted, imprisoned, distressed, we can say with Jacob, "I have enough, because the Lord has mercy on me, and has taken me into covenant...

"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the Church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever." - Ephesians 3:20-21 Our very best days are right before us, not behind us! Consider...

Matthew 12: 34,35 - "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things." Observation: The good treasure is the Word. So from the Word of God deposited in my heart through...

Matthew 6:22: "The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light." MIRRORS OF THE SOUL The eyes are the literal mirrors of a person's soul and reveals much about a person's deep inner man. In that deep place of the heart, the eye of the...

Isaiah 66:2 - "To this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.". The Hebrew word for “look” is “nabat” which means to regard, pay attention to, or to esteem. The one who gets God’s favorable attention is poor or humble. Humility is not...

"My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips. When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches. Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice." Psalm 63:5-7 In this classic...

I give thanks to you, O God, for Your name is near. I will declare it forever and sing praises for the blood of Jesus. (Psalm 75:1,9) My horn will be lifted up as I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. (Psalm 75:10) As a faithful steward of God's grace, I bring whatever gift I have...

Jesus instructed His disciples to pray..."Your Kingdom comes, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven" (see Matthew 6:10, Luke 11:2). As we pray as Jesus instructs, we are actually praying for Heaven to touch earth. When Jesus came He brought His world to ours! He demonstrated the Kingdom...

A person who has the love of Jesus flowing through his heart into the lives of others may soar, run, and rejoice; he is fee and nothing holds him back. He gives all for all and has all in all. Love knows no limit, but exceeds all limits. Love feels no burden, shrugs off all labor, aims beyond...
