I am like a tree firmly planted by streams of water which yields its fruit in due season; my leaf does not wither and I prosper in whatever I do; because my delight is in You Lord Jesus. (Psalm1:2,3) How blessed am I since I take refuge in Jesus. (Psalm 2:12) My Lord, You are a shield about...

John 14:6,7 - "Jesus saith unto him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known My Father also: and from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him."' Unless we can be corrected, unless we are seeking...

Performance is a very hard taskmaster. In fact, under performance we can never do enough. For us to believe that God only loves us or approves of us because of what we DO for Him rather than WHOSE we are, is to actually demonstrate that what Christ did on the Cross is of no effect! In other...

2 Corinthians 11:2 - "I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to Him." The Bible is a book of reversals. Old things become new, the dead come to life, the lost are found. Even those who were the...

"That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of...

Revelation 1:6 - "And has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve His God and Father -- to Him be glory and power forever and ever! Amen." Mary was chosen to bring forth the Son of God into the world in human flesh. Jesus Christ was a living, breathing move of God. Every place he went...

Revelation 4:6 - "Before the throne, there was, as it were, a sea of glass like crystal." The glass sea is a symbol: there are no ripples, no waves, no anxieties troubling God. The Lord is never worried, never in a hurry nor without an answer. The sea around Him is perfectly still and totally...

The Holy Spirit’s desire is that we live every day in the fullness of the Lord, by seeing above and beyond what we can do, and that Jesus would receive glory and honor through His great power that works in us and through us. This is the essence of what Paul writes about in Ephesians 3:20, 21 -...

Jesus, make me the object of your compassion as I give thanks to Your holy name and glory in Your Praise -- blessed be Your Name. (Psalm 106:46-48) Your Word, O Lord, leads me by a straight way as your lovingkindness is everlasting for the redeemed, always delivering me out of my distresses...

It is imperative that we realize our personal identity in Christ. In Colossians 2:9 we discover this central fact concerning Christ Jesus: "For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily." Our outlook on life is changed as we contemplate: "And you are complete in Him, who is the...

Focus on Jesus -- Immanuel. If you live on the surface of life by focusing on everchanging phenomena, you will find yourself echoing the words of Solomon: "Meaningless! Meaningless! Everything is meaningless!" Live in collaboration with Him is the way to discover His purpose for your life...

John 12:21 tells us that a delegation from the Greek community came to the disciples and said, "We wish to see Jesus." If there is an intense yearning within us, then there must be something to respond to that aspiration or we would not possess it. "As the deer pants for the water brooks, so...

1 John 3:16 - "We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren." There is something the Church seriously needs to attain to today. Somehow preaching has seeped in that makes one believe that believers have to get good first before...

The decisions we make, the places we go, the things we say -- create images in our subconscious. First, we think a thought; then we rehearse it until it begins to formulate an image. Finally, our words speak things into existence and our actions set dynamics into motion. We are to present and...

Take time to be holy. The word holy does not mean goody-goody; it means set apart for sacred use. As you focus your mind and heart on Jesus, you are being transformed; re-created into the one you were designed to be. This process requires blocks of time set aside with the Lover of your soul...

Luke 11:1 states: "Now Jesus was praying in a certain place, and when He finished, one of His disciples said to Him, 'Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.'" This is our prayer, "Lord, teach us how to pray." -- we do not want to pray in our old ways, asking and begging. We...

I give thanks to the Lord and sing praises to Him and tell of the wonderful things He has done. (Psalm 105:1,2) I glory in Jesus' holy name as I seek His face and glory in His holy name. (Psalm 105:3,4) Jesus is the Lord my God as I am complete in Him and the New Covenant He has made with me...
