I suppose everyone who believes and has faith when they die, will have their "second coming experience." In the bible it was never called second coming - it was always watch and wait and look and seek for his appearing - second coming has become the nuance ever since a long time ago.

The tradition of when the Revelation has always been held at 90-95AD, but it's a tradition which Jesus spoke against "mans traditions", therefore its possible for it to have been written before the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in 70AD, and all with-in the generation from which Jesus...

Thank you, I respect that.

So there is no salvation if the bible doesn't pertain to America, @Jack?

This is the thread I created about - why do people believe satan is still around. You are someone who still does, with thousands of other people that would back you up on that. I would still stand against all of those thousand other peoples. It's okay though, people can believe what they want...

Well you're also not the judge, @Jack. You know you can believe however you want, it doesn't bother me personally. I just dont have to accept what you say as the direct truth just cause you can quote a bible scripture.

1 Thessalonians 1 New International Version 1 Paul, Silas[a] and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace and peace to you. He did hinder them. He wasn't completely done away with until Revelation. His defeat started at the cross.

Ok.

You can call me a liar, crazy, heretic. It really doesn't matter to me. Satan isn't around anymore, but people dont have faith that is true that Jesus has had the victory. and that is okay, @Jack.

I love the bible, and find it useful. I think what you are defending is more of what you believe, or whatever. Well, Satan has been defeated, otherwise the bible is a lie, and Jesus was a liar too while we are at it, and the apostles, @Jack.

You defending a bible that in context never dealt with the nation of America or anyone that is alive today. That is fine, that is your right to do as an american.

Dont you understand it yet, Jack? If you dont it's fine. I mean you're the one that is commenting here.

One day you'll die and meet Jesus, but he is not coming back anymore. He came back one time. For his bride.

Those people who were waiting and watching in faith seen him come back already. Now that is a scripture I can't provide, and something that pertains to faith. I can provide scriptures that pertain to them waiting and watching then in that time though, and that is something you can't fight...

Who said that, Jack?

Alot of the way one sees the bible has to do on their own judgement. If you believe Jesus is coming today, that is not true in the context of the scope.. if you still have hope that he is still coming anyway, that is fine but you can't fight the context and say that I am lying. You can say I...

are you thinking that I am suggesting the bible is useless?

Generation. Numbers 32:13 13 And the Lord’s anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them gwander in the wilderness forty years, until hall the generation that had done evil in the sight of the Lord was gone. https://www.gotquestions.org/generation-in-the-Bible.html

It's okay if your a futurist, but I don't see it relating to today, Jack.

Yeah, in their future.
