Yes, but where in the end does this leave them with God? Yes, and I believe that to be stunted unto the end of a person's course [allotted time as a man of flesh] is to in effect choose death instead of Life. How long can a person remain on the fence? Jas 1:8 A double minded man is...

@MatthewG So do some come to the Lord as babies and remain babies all of their lives? Can a person's growth toward maturity in Christ be stunted? Does this relate to the quenching of the Holy Spirit within us? At what point, if any, during a person's life in carnal flesh will his growth be...

Please do not delete your account and leave. God can and will work with you even here and not everyone will oppose you at every turn. Many will, but that is likely to be so wherever you might go. Trust Him and when and where you can discuss Him and His Word from your heart. The Holy Spirit has...

Just so... When we know His will, and ask accordingly, how can we go wrong? Mt 7:9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Mt 7:10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? Mt 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto...

Skimming through some of the multitude of things I have saved into my computer over the years, I found the following saved in 2013. Perhaps some of the Australians here have read it before 2013: When an old man died in the geriatric ward of a nursing home in an Australian country town, it was...

No excuses! Before I was age 32, I had never read or owned a Bible. No one in the home where I lived with my mother and stepfather while growing up ever read the Bible, even though there was always one in the house. When God called my wife and I to Him in 1976 I started reading the Bible for...

Praying that God will help you get to where you need to be in Him now and always.

Ah ha! Sorry...I guess I missed that.

"Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken. Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph." Amos 5:14-15 Rom 9:13...

@MatthewG Isa 4:2 In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. Is the branch of the LORD, Jesus? When is that day? Is it the day he is able to see Him face to face or did it...

Back in 1942 the Pledge of Allegiance to Flag of the USA was officially adopted and school children began to recite it. Not until 1954 when I was in the 5th grade in elementary school under President Dwight D Eisenhower were the words "under God" inserted after the word, "nation" in that same...
