Was Jerusalem compassed with armies leading up to 70 AD?

Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand) Luke 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

If the New Covenant is national, why did Jesus offer it to His disciples individually in Matthew 26:26-28?

If you have disproving Scripture, please present it.

The New Covenant. Our part. Ephesians 1 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of...

Do you believe that God hates sin? I do. But the explicit statement "God hates sin" is not found in Scripture. So obviously that's just an assumption or opinion. And so it's possible that God actually loves sin. I hope you aren't one of the dispensational desecrators who deny that the New...

I would be more than interested to see you provide just one example from Scripture of someone fearing God and working righteousness and being accepted by Him... ...But being refused His Covenant. Just one example.

Why do you think that God would refuse to Covenant with someone who fears Him and works righteousness and is accepted by Him? Someone who is described thus has certainly met His Covenant conditions. And is therefore in Covenant with Him. That verse in fact explicitly describes a Covenant. We...

"But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him." "him" means God. "accepted" means a covenant. "every nation" means nations. "he" means individuals. What more do you need to know?

I have no idea where you get that from. Provide a verbatim quote where I've said that. Acts 10 34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. That...

Today everyone is a Jew genetically. So how does God distinguish Jews from Jews?

Paul identifies "all Israel". Two Israels. Romans 9 6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8 That is, They which...

You don't know your father's history? For shame. In the 19th century, John Nelson Darby contaminated Protestantism with counterfeit apostate Jesuit futurism. The Jesuit futurism that you espouse. Congratulations on your heritage of counterfeit apostasy.

I'm having difficulty trying to follow your logic. So let's take an alternate tack and (re)confirm who you think comprises Israel. After more than three millennia of natural genetic dispersion and diffusion, Abraham's genome is present in the entirety of humanity, and thus physical DNA does...

The New Covenant is only for those who are in Christ. If you are not in Christ, there is no New Covenant, and no New Covenant promises, for you. Where does the word "nation" appear? Where does the word "nation" appear?

John Nelson Darby lived in 1560?

The Covenant that has not failed is the New Covenant in the Blood of Christ, its Testator and Heir. None other.

The fulfillment of God's Covenants. In God's New Will and Testament, all covenants and promises are fulfilled only in Christ, and in those who are in Christ. The OT covenants and promises are the promissory clauses of God's Old Will and Testament, and they are both revoked and fulfilled in the...

Jeremiah 11:10 They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers. Do you agree that this Scripture...

Jeremiah 11:10 They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers. This Scripture precisely says that the...
