Questions, Answers, and Everything In Between: Exploring God

No. On the contrary, Jesus' last words regarding Israel before "It is finished", included, "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do." (Luke 23:34).

Revelation 11:1-3 - Can someone explain to me what these 3 verses are telling us?

A measuring rod is the length and stature of a man--meaning John was told to measure or count the number of people of the house of Israel up until the time of the cross, who make up that inner portion of the spiritual Temple in heaven. The outer court of the gentiles--meaning the saved of the...

Revelation 11:1-3 - Can someone explain to me what these 3 verses are telling us?

Revelation 11:1-3 is a vision of God's two witnesses grouped together as each being one man (one as of flesh as Adam, and the other as born again of the spirit as Christ)--one man/witness before the cross and one after. "42 months" is 1260 days or half of 70 weeks...a riddle not easily followed...

What Does It Mean That No One Knows The Day Or The Hour (Mark 13:32)? Here Is One View

@Rockerduck As the Son of man, it was the man Jesus who went to the cross. But as both fully man and fully God, as it is written of Him, He walked with one foot on the land and the other on the sea (earth and heaven, flesh and spirit).

Is it prideful or arrogant to claim to be "born again"?

@Ritajanice That is a residue of the old man and mind, basically struggling to fully believe. It is not a process per se, but what occurs in the twinkling of an eye, can understandably be taken as somewhat unbelievable. Unfortunately, that developed into the "lie" that Paul wrote of causing...

Revelation 10:4 - Do not write what you have heard...

No, the times of the gentiles began when Jesus was "finished" with "the house of Israel", ascended to the Father, and then ("Behold, I stand at the door and knock") began to return at Pentecost to the "other fold" of the gentiles, which He said He "must also bring." The end of the time of the...

Is it prideful or arrogant to claim to be "born again"?

Well...no, but it would seem that you in fact are not born again, and therefore your response. I am not judging or criticising, but want to point out that if you are born again, Christ has more than touched you, He has entered into you and you into Him, thus causing you to become a new creation...

    The two witnessss

Yes, his responses are like mindless and repeated AI generated trolling, like in a chat when you're not actually talking with a real person.

    The two witnessss

Typical psychological projection defense. The fact that you "understand" only makes it worse.

Revelation 10:4 - Do not write what you have heard...

Because the mystery of God purposely would not come until the times of the gentiles are fulfilled. But no, John did not write it down ever, but was shown a preview of what was reserved until the time of the end. Recognizing what John saw was defined as "the finish of the mystery of God as He...

What Does It Mean That No One Knows The Day Or The Hour (Mark 13:32)? Here Is One View

Hi Nancy, The reason Jesus did not know the day or the hour, is because as the Son of man He was fully a man. If He had known, it would have just been the Father who had come and was born of Mary. Even so, the Two were One.

What Does It Mean That No One Knows The Day Or The Hour (Mark 13:32)? Here Is One View

There are only 2 day and hours that qualify: When one is born, and when they die. As for when the Lord comes...both are true. For when He comes--when He knocks and comes in, the old man dies and is born anew.

    Husbands, love your wives

If you can read, that's a start...because I am just acting upon what is written. But what do you expect--have you not read that all language was confused by God? Which is the reason you are not understanding what I am saying...because you (and everyone since the tower of Babel except the...

    Husbands, love your wives

Indeed, the metaphor has all components. But the human-practice part is simply an image projected into creation, in a glass dimly. Even so, it is a light upon a hill.

Yes, that's is obvious. But--again--you are in Error.

    Revelation 9:13 - 200 million

Sorry you don't see it, but I have told you the truth.

You are a broken record displaying blindness. I have done enough for someone who will not hear.

    Revelation 9:13 - 200 million

A better translation of "two hundred million" would be "two groups of an innumerable multitude, an unlimited number." Which is a reference to all those who died before Christ, and all those who die after Christ. It just means--everyone dies.
