    Baptism

I would expect lifetime scholars to do a lot of wheel spinning in their search for answers, but if the Holy Spirit teaches shouldn't the answers come easy? Of course the Spirit may not indulge every curiosity if he does not intend for you to apply it for the Kingdom. This I believe is the...

Choosing Your Faith Now Required To Post

This is an announcement, not a debate. When the forum was transferred over to the new software non Christian members were able to post in Christian areas of the forum. This was an oversight and we apologize for the inconvenience for those who needed to select a faith again. If anyone is...

    The Afterlife

When time ends, won't the world have to end too because the perishable can not inherent the imperishable?

The three Ages of Earth & Heaven

Scripture may not say and thus ended the age of... something. That doesn't mean it didn't happen. There are major events that divide what we know into what could be called ages. Exile from eden, and the second coming. The fall of the angels and resurrection of Jesus.

    Color and Wavelengths?

I suppose the nm range for color classification is due to human perception. We have 3 kinds of cone cells to cover the visible spectrum: Blue, Green, and red. Any color is a combination of cones, processed by the brain. red and green cone cells have the most overlap, so we can distinguish...

    Gravity

It is hard for me to explain, it is part of what I would consider high math. A vector field defines the vector for any point on the graph, and it can be a 2D or 3D field or more if you can conceive of such a thing. Vectors are in basic physics, and represent a direction and magnitude from a...

    Giants In America

They are also mentioned in at least one of the apocryphal books as I recall.

    Gravity

One method of generating power directly from gravity is tidal generators, which take advantage of the tides as the name suggests.

    Keep away

Again I'm confused, the context of 1 Corinthians 13:7 is believing in people, or not being paranoid. Do you agree?

    Keep away

I'm confused by this thread in general. What is the point being made in the OP? Is it not to trust Muslims because their religion permits them to lie?

    Keep away

They are totally different. Taqiyya is permitted deception by denial of one's faith. There is nothing like it in Christianity.

    Gravity

In mathematics gravity would be considered a conservative vector field. The potential energy of an object between two points is the same regardless of the path it takes from A to B.

    The Problem With The Trinity

A fruit is a natural product of something. Like an apple is the product of an apple tree. Or a b More adherents does not lend credence to anything. Quite the opposite, 2 Tim 4:3

    The Problem With The Trinity

Eternal life is at stake, I think that is a fruit worthy of mention. Drone-bombing Muslims is a red herring. A secular government is bombing some Muslims for their atrocities. We aren't bombing Buddhists, or Atheists, or Hindus, or anyone else not taking innocent lives. We would have invaded...

God or the Devil , Life and death.

If God lifts a protection from someone it is a passive permission for Satan to take advantage of the situation. But Satan is responsible for what evil he does and God has no part in it.

    The Problem With The Trinity

It speaks of the divinity of Jesus Christ as Lord which is essential for salvation. While maintaining that there is one God.

    Gravity

We already take advantage of gravity.

    The Problem With The Trinity

I see no conflicts between that in the Trinity. The Trinity defines their 'personage' not their roles. Division is sometimes inevitable. Jesus did say he would bring a sword.
