    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

The Pentecost of Acts 2:1 fell on a Sunday. I commend you on your expertise in not answering direct questions. Even if these were all true, they are circumstantial and have nothing to do with the perpetuity of God's (NOT Moses's) moral law. It's probably just a bunch of stuff you copied...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

The first time Jesus had communion, after his resurrection with His disciples, was on a Sunday: (Lk. 24:1, 13, 28-35)

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

In view of all these remarks, why would you ask if the commandment requires Sunday-keeping if you believe it is obsolete Jewish law, anyway?

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Yes, the Sabbath of the LORD thy God, given by the Lord of the Sabbath.

Why does God have to judge and hurt me?

When we turn to the subject of wine in the Scriptures, we find two main words-tirosh which usually refers to grape juice in its unfermented state, the way it comes from the press as a new agricultural product, and yayin, a word with less clear meanings. In 30 of the 38 references to tirosh in...

Why does God have to judge and hurt me?

It’s true that we often find people drinking alcohol in the Bible and that Scripture speaks of alcoholic beverages, but we need to be careful not to read too much into a superficial look at such texts. When our English Old Testaments refer to alcohol, they generally use the words wine or strong...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

OK  The point is not moot. We have no "images" or images. We have no "men" or men. What we have is the Bible. But I doubt you'll ever entertain these ideas. So, do two wrongs make a right or not? :D

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

So let no one warn you. We should perhaps wait until it's too late for a warning. Then Who will judge us? 1 John 2:6 KJV: He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Mary... No one reverences these graven images, bows down to them, prays to them, etc. And if they did, would two wrongs make a right?

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to you. It's not like I'm venturing to rebuke you--I wouldn't even call it a gentle reproof. But didn't Paul even say: "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable?" I just want what's best for the cause of Sabbath reform, and you...

The doctrine of the “Bible is our only authority “!

You should be aware that the majority of errors in Christian doctrine come about as a result of preferring certain of Paul's (and others', admittedly) words over others without rightly dividing his amazingly enlightened contribution to the Word of God. Unity is not uniformity in the sense that...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

I realize I might have made a mistake here, Mary, but at the present, I just don't have the time to right the wrong, so I'll just have to concede the point to you and beg your forgiveness. I'll try to remember to come back to it if you wish. :)

The doctrine of the “Bible is our only authority “!

It's an abstract generalization. Christianity is full of them. If we would speak more of the Word to each other and less of our own words, we would be in agreement on the essentials and I think that is what Christ prayed for in John 17. Just sayin'. :)

Where can I find a really shy woman for a relationship?

I've been married nearly 40 years and it has been wonderful, rewarding, and fulfilling but, at the same time, it has been a rough road. You are very, very astute to be so apprehensive. I was raised by strict, conservative parents who never spoke the word "divorce" in our home unless it was in...

The doctrine of the “Bible is our only authority “!

Why single out Adventists? I made no claims to Adventists' fidelity to the Bible.

@Michiah-Imla What percentage of those who claim Sola Scriptura would you say you are in agreement with on matters of faith you consider essential?

The doctrine of the “Bible is our only authority “!

Trouble is, depending on who you talk to, they all do.
