John's Gospel isn't synoptic. John handpicked each sign to designate a spiritual meaning. Also, John wrote this fact that all the books in the world couldn't contain all the miracles that Jesus did. John 21:25 - Jesus also did many other things, if they were all written down, I suppose the...

The Gospel of John was written after 70 ad., because John's gospel is written by Roman time and date, not Jewish time and calendar, because Jerusalem was gone. John also refers to the sea of Tiberius, instead of Galilee, because the sea was renamed just prior to 70ad.

No one said they would return to God. Just to the Homeland.

I've met several former Catholics in my day that left the Catholic churches. Once they become born again from above, they leave the Catholic church because the Holy Spirit leads them away.

All the theologians from the early church to now agreed that the parable of the fig tree was about the return of Israel to their homeland which occurred in 1948. It is that generation that the Jesus was talking about. Peal Harbor had a survivor's union just recently. The WW2 generation is still...

You can't deny this Parable isn't real. All of the Parables Jesus told are real stories., so you will deny the ministry of Jesus Christ.

I trust in the Lord in all things. Jeremiah 17-5 - Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord.

Isn't it semantics now? The thief is in paradise. Remove "today" and Jesus said "You will be with me in Paradise."

That's the old testament . All things changed after the Cross. The Holy Spirit indwells believers born again from above.

Matthew 10:26 - Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known. How can it be revealed if God doesn't know it.? Everything you say and think and have done is recorded and will be revealed in the judgement. God knows all this...

This is the rapture Jesus is talking about that the Apostle Paul expanded on. Matthew 24:39-41 - and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women...

Oh my, so I have to show my creds. Ok, I shook hands with Jerry Falwell and worked for Billy Graham. I don't get involved with hypothetical allegories. In the OP, you are born again from above, evidenced by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit or not. Trying to convince otherwise is a nonstarter.

Talk to Dr. Jim Smith about this.

You are either a Saint or you Ain't. - Dr. Jim Smith

Whether or not you believe it, God showed me in a vortex in my mind how He had control of my life from the beginning of my life to the point of my Born again salvation. A Christian college professor I was speaking to, told me about the Holy Spirit vortex, and he asked me if I saw it, and I said...

If you see a doctor and your vitals are fine, then the weight is no problem. Sometimes the weight loss is more harm than good, as in not eating the nutrients you need. The weight loss craze only started after magazines and TV. Satan wants you to have low esteem. Just look at the unhappy women...

The only thing I want to hear from people wanting to loose weight is. Who told them they were fat. I weigh more than I did in high school, so what, I'm not a teenager anymore and I don't look it. I can walk a mile with no problem and still get up and down from the ground. My knees hurt only a...

I checked a few of those bibles that I could find. They still say "unquenchable fire". I checked Mark 9:43 in them.

It is the part about Hell. Jesus is telling everyone to deal radically with anything that hinders you from accepting Jeus as savior for eternal life. The consequence is the unquenchable fire of Hell.

I believe what Jesus said about Hell over what anyone says. Mark 9:43 - If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It’s better to enter eternal life with only one hand than to go into the unquenchable fires of hell with two hands.
