I remember being part of the Baptist church basically as a new church adherent. Most of the folk there were talking about ministry and what Gods will was for their lives. I was amazed by the different callings that members believed they had. Some said that they were going to be ministers, others...

Would love to see more members of the church praying for healings.

Yes it does but in context. Sometimes someone may give another member a word because it's burning like fire in their heart and so they speak out and say it either in the service or after, what the Lord has said to them about the other member. It is confirmed in the heart of the person recieving...

That @devin553344 is God acknowledging to you that what you had heard is from him. It was no mistake. The anointing is very much like this. It gives you a sense of heavenly peace and his presence all wrapped up together....

@quietthinker just because you have never experienced the power and the anointing of the Holy Spirit does not mean that others here have not. Please read this title thread. This is not a debate forum so don't even start it here....

I don't know you but I do know what you are insinuating and I gotta tell ya brother. I have been mod here for 11years and I won't tolerate someone saying that members who are Spirit filled and giving God the glory are somehow doing it via another spirit. You are insulting a whole load of...

Totally @Pearl and I agree with what you are saying. We know that the gifts are for today. We also know that some who call themselves believers have never experienced the power of the Holy Spirit working in their lives and probably never will....

I think they call that Cessationism @Pearl . It's a belief that the gifts stopped after the Apostles....something like that.

@quietthinker That's your opinion but you are talking to me. I am a Pentecostal believer.... Do you know me? Are you saying that I do not have the Holy Spirit dwelling within me? is that what you are saying brother because that is enough to get you deleted off this forum.o_O

I'm saying that Pentecostals do not find it easy to stay silent when asked. It's almost impossible to keep a Pentecostal sitting in their respective seats and act in a sedate and conservative manner because the Holy Spirit is within them and all they want to do is give God the Glory! dance and...

That's just it. Pentecostals can't be silent! They don't know how to be silent :D:D really! I remember going to a combined service at our local Baptist church. The minister asked the congregation to be silent and wait upon the Lord. Well you could tell which members were Pentecostal....they...

Hahahahaha!

Praying for you..

Yes

Had this song stuck in my thoughts all day after coming back from an Aglow meeting. As we gather may your Spirit be within us. As we gather may we glorify your name. Knowing well that as our hearts begin to worship, we'll be blessed because we came, we'll be blessed because we came. The...

Hi @farouk. Just popped in to say gidday!

You have been here a long time bro. Right at the beginning when HS started this forum. You must have seen some very odd things. For me, I have learned a lot of things here. Particularly, various beliefs and words that I have never heard of like soteriology or preterism etc.

if that were true then the same can be said with the Idea of Peter being the Rock. All believers in Christ can then be considered as the Rock upon which the church of Christ is built, him being the chief cornerstone.

Hi @Willy50 Welcome! Hope you enjoy your time here @CyB :)

Praying for a miracle blessings and peace!:
