    A morning chuckle

Foxworthy might say something like: "If you have ever suspected a crooked politician of being crooked-- you might be a MAGA redneck!"

    Don't drink cow's milk ..

Interestingly...the "land of milk and honey" is one sort and land of promise, but no heaven. It's the Middle East--a hot and arid and dry land, having many enemies, a mere and lowly metaphor of heaven. I too have limited my morning coffee to oat milk...but do love cheese. But cows milk is not...

    My feelings are hurt

    Jesus = stop.

    Mentally terrorized by gaslighting

You're writing--that's good! The affair is not with a women. It's a parable.

What's your purpose at a forum such as this?

You scoffers--I could ask you an even greater question: Why is it that since you have read and heard the same as all who call themselves Christian, that you have not seen or recognized in those things, and by whom testimony has been given, that you should expect something similar, let alone...

What's your purpose at a forum such as this?

I could quote Jesus and more than a few sent by God, giving their unblowing trumpet witness. But why should I entertain futility--when you apparently already missed their's?

"Faith is believing what you know ain't so" (Mark Twain).

@O'Darby @Aunty Jane The dumbing is just confusion and blindness imposed upon every generation by God for the purpose of-- equal opportunity, "until the times of the gentiles are fulfilled"...Each given the opportunity to face the stated equation, of "Behold, the man has become like one of Us...

"Faith is believing what you know ain't so" (Mark Twain).

I have given my testimony. I am sure it's here somewhere. It's a bit of a story, not unlike Paul's experience on the road to Damascus. Just me and God.

What's your purpose at a forum such as this?

No, but He did ask them why they didn't know.

"Faith is believing what you know ain't so" (Mark Twain).

First, I am under no obligation to try and convince you of anything, nor have I assumed anything. But it is given to me to make known the truth of the matter. So, I don't need to go point to point, as you are. Unfortunately, you are speaking out of your own understanding of something bigger...

What's your purpose at a forum such as this?

What's your purpose at a forum such as this? My coming to know God and my salvation experience was not unlike Paul's road to Damascus experience. I was touched and tasked by God to put an end...well, to everything. Yet first comes the fulfillment of "the sounding of the seventh angel, when he...

"Faith is believing what you know ain't so" (Mark Twain).

Again, that is good...unless you mean it to say that Jesus was just a man. I have explained already how He was "I am" "before the foundation of the world", then "a man also", as an "image" of "I am" and again God having "taken His life up again", which only God can do.

What's the reason Jesus is 'immortal' and men 'mortals' ?

Answering the above title question" Jesus is the exception, the "only begotten"--which is to say "of" God, but spiritually, meaning "is." "Of" is a preposition meaning "is" in the spiritual context of God who is timeless. It is simply another way of saying "I am." Meaning, although Jesus was...

"Faith is believing what you know ain't so" (Mark Twain).

This has been a mystery for millennium (...which I have just answered in post #132.) Indeed, you may very well know all that has yet been known. You will find my explanation in post #132..

"Faith is believing what you know ain't so" (Mark Twain).

That's all fine enough...for this side of the chasm. Walking in the spirit here is not quite the same as without this side in existence. That will come. Meanwhile, our walking in the spirit is best not done like wearing a gown that is donned, as did Adam and Eve in an attempt to cover their...

"Faith is believing what you know ain't so" (Mark Twain).

Exactly. The point being...when all is said and done, we are all One, in Christ in God--no multitudes, no son of man, One. It is only the "image" that would make it appear differently.

"Faith is believing what you know ain't so" (Mark Twain).

No. You don't get to turn the tables. I wasn't even asking you--I was telling you.

"Faith is believing what you know ain't so" (Mark Twain).

Your version? Fine. Let me enlarge the truth of it...because it would seem you mean to ignore it.

"Faith is believing what you know ain't so" (Mark Twain).

Sorry that I am having to be so blunt with you and @Peterlag, but you have both from the very beginning, apparently, missed the fact that man (including Jesus) is manifest in the form of an "image" of God, a reflection. Which in the case of Jesus is a perfect image, and thus like the image in a...

"Faith is believing what you know ain't so" (Mark Twain).

Okay...let's start with you: Is your image in a mirror not you, but someone else? (Rhetorical) The answer is, there is you, and there is your image, and your image is not another being. God has declared from the beginning that man was made in His image. So...you are having a problem with the...
