Wrangler, practically everyone here believes that others are attempting to support a doctrine not found in Scripture. I can find lots of websites that comprehensively and eloquently present anything I want to believe. I don't remember whether I read your link or not but: Me, look to the people...

Will there be a rapture? Yes. Will it be a secret? NO! Rapture means "to be carried away with power," and it is true that when Jesus comes the living righteous will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17). But many have come to believe that this rapture will take place...

In the near future, Satan will attempt to impersonate Jesus and counterfeit His return to earth. But God's people need not be deceived. When the disciples asked Jesus for the sign of His coming and the end of the world, the very first thing He told them was to be on guard against impostors. He...

1. Didn’t the thief on the cross go to paradise with Christ the day He died No. In fact, on Sunday morning Jesus said to Mary, “I have not yet ascended to My Father” (John 20:17). This shows that Christ did not go to heaven at death. It’s important to note that the punctuation we see in the...

16. Will the righteous people who are raised in the resurrection ever die again? “Those who are counted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead … nor can they die anymore” (Luke 20:35, 36). “God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor...

11. What was the devil’s first lie on Earth? “The serpent said to the woman, ‘You will not surely die’ ” (Genesis 3:4). “That serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan” (Revelation 12:9). Answer: You will not die. 12. Why did the devil lie to Eve about death? Could this subject be more...

The Bible suggests that King David will be in God’s kingdom, but that he is in his grave now, where he awaits the resurrection. 6. Do good people go to heaven when they die? “All who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth” (John 5:28, 29). “David … is both dead and buried, and...

I'd like to visit your planet someday. :p:p:p

I don't think so. You assume that I know little of the law of Moses because I do not share your view. That is not wise. Ephesians 4:14 || That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness...

There seems to be basically 2 different arguments about the Trinity going on in this thread: One is about Its existence. And the other is about its priority in doctrine.

Talking down to each other. Is it profitable?

I asked you to produce one of those threats and you didn't reply. I don't deny that it happens. I think I said that already. Do two wrongs then make a right? Are you really going with the "He started it" defense? Presumption of superiority? Not here, Friend. Is it possible you could be suffering...

Death just might be one of the most misunderstood subjects today. For many, death is shrouded in mystery and evokes dread, uncertainty, and hopelessness. Others believe that their deceased loved ones are not dead at all, but instead live with them or in other realms. Millions are confused about...

Sometimes the word "hell" does mean "the grave" in the Bible. Seventh-day Adventists do believe in a literal, burning hell reserved for the persistently wicked. :)

But how are we going to get straightened out if we talk down to each other? :)

And "others" and "your neighbor" would include God, right? :)

Funny; it used to be called the Gospel of Jesus Christ. :)

"If you love me keep my commandments," Jesus said. How does fulfilling the law do away with it? Did Christ do away with righteousness when He was baptized? Matthew 3:13 At that time Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. Matthew 3:14 But John tried to prevent Him, saying...

The more time I spend on this thread, the more I feel like I'm in danger of trampling on holy ground.

This is so good. It's a little embarrassing the way the G.C. goes so far on their website to defend the Trinity. At least they don't use 1 John 5:7. :)
