`OUT of heaven means OUT. It does not say the city came down WITH heaven.

I hear you about the nit picking and see it could be taken that way. However, I`m not a hype Pauline observer. I appreciate ALL that the Head, Jesus has told us through His Holy Spirit concerning - the nations, Israel and the Body of Christ.

I don`t seem to have those scriptures in my Bible, BBJ. Can you point them out to me please where heaven come to earth? As it is the Holy Spirit writing His word then no one gets any glory.

Somethings I agree with Doug. We agree that Israel is the bride. However, I wouldn`t express that Paul has a different gospel, (good news) I would rather say he was given further revelation.

Thank you for explaining that. I would put it like this, Peter and the other 11 apostles received revelation from the Lord, and then when Christ ascended to the Father and was made Head of the Body, we read that He gave Paul further revelation of His purposes.

There is an earthly Zion and a heavenly one.

Yes, good point. However, there are different inheritances. Israel to rule over the nation on the earth. (1 Kings 2: 45) The OT saints to be in the New Jerusalem. (Heb. 11: 16) The Body of Christ to be on the Lord`s own throne in the highest. (Rev. 3: 21 4: 2 - 6 Eph. 1: 20 - 22)

When someone is not content to rely on God`s word they resort to ridiculing the other person. Not good.

Oh, so God who is omniscient didn`t realize that fallen men of Israel would not obey. Of course. God is showing that no man, nation, Israel, Gentile, could ever turn to Him without His intervention through Christ.

The 12 Apostles only went to the Jews. Jesus told them that they would sit on 12 thrones judging the 12 tribes of Israel. They are only concerned with the nation of Israel. That is God`s purpose for them. (Matt. 19: 28) So, when God tells Israel that He is their husband (master) and they are...

The `sheep` are some of the nations ON the earth when Jesus comes. We, the Body of Christ will have already gone to the third heaven to rule with Christ. (Rev. 3: 21) We will judge the world system and fallen angels in the trib. (1 Cor. 6: 2 & 3)

So, when after the Holy Spirit descended did the 12 Apostles ever preach or teach about the Body of Christ?

So, why did the 12 Apostles ask Jesus, ``Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom (rule) to Israel?` (Acts 1: 6) Seems they had no idea of the Lord`s future purpose, the Body of Christ.

You have NOT given any scriptures for God moving heaven to earth.

Mmmm so Paul is going to present you on earth to Jesus. I`d like to see that!
