There are two ekklesia - the Church/Ekklesia in the wilderness and the church/Ekklesia the Body of Christ.

No. No scripture is to be taken in isolation of the other scriptures. That is how error and false doctrine occurs. All scripture is needed for all topics and not just pick and choose for one`s own doctrine. Hope that is clearer?

God`s word says - `For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.` (1 Cor. 3: 11) Peter is certainly NOT what the Lord is building on.

The Lord has two congregations - Israel and the Body of Christ. They are both `called out ones, Ekkesia.` Israel is called out of the nations. The Body of Christ is called out of Israel and the nations.

When God`s word says the city comes down OUT of heaven, that does NOT mean WITH heaven.

I agree that the city is the community of people. Now in one place you say we are the Bride, then in another the Body. Either we are IN Christ or out of Him. Which? And where do you read we are joined to Israel?

Actually, Jesus was speaking about the `rock` of confession that He was Lord. What scriptures show you that Peter and the other 11 apostles knew about the Body of Christ?
