Haha! Very true, I was told people were disappointed that he wasn't weeping over his sins. But, maybe he heard some love of Jesus for him during the preaching. As @Nancy said..who know what seeds were sown. :)

EXCELLENT , well said. Agree the "Gospel Meeting" we used to go to when first saved, were full of saved people!! Our old pastor always open with a prayer that the unsaved would wander in. ( no one ever 'went out'. ) One Sunday a scruffy man came in , he sat at the back and cried all the way...

Oh very good! :)

I have bookmarked your link...I hope I live long enough to read everything that I want to read. :D Thank you.

Touché So...shall we say it is not either v Or, but BOTH ...and, let it drop ?

Thanks for the reply Rita. :) Im glad you joined the Site... Everyone brings a bit of a different flavour to the pot...and as you say...I am sure many of us are predictable in what and how we post :D I find it fun for the main part. And yes, there are gems hidden among the waffle in many...

I have never called it purgatory , I don't find that in the bible..but I do see "The Refiners Fire".. so on that I agree with you... But where you and I probably part ways is that I see that Jesus died for all men. But that is another issue and not this thread. I just want to go on record (...

And Mary...you obviously 'like' hammering on and on about water baptism. What has it got to do the OP? You are already on another thread 'arguing the baptism point' over and over...why do you need to bring it here too? You have a bee in your bonnet obviously. Your argument about the water...

Cold and chilly again today...but the sun is doing it's best to try and break through.

Agree. The verse I like is where Noah and His family come IN, and God shuts the door. The Type of Christ our salvation. In Exodus God says to Moses when He is giving the Tabernacle directions and patterns etc...- And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the...

Amen brother...some very good points...thank you for that..and I so agree with your - quote- "Those that use personal attacks will never be taken seriously, even if they are right. I try not to... I fail at times, sometimes big time. I am human... I have learned to look at the facts and the...

Excellent! The only way can can 'be saved' is by being in The Ark Himself.

Just try to feel sorry for those who attack. :) After almost 20years on Christian forums my skin has still not totally thickened. I think if we ever come to the place where it doesn't ever bother us..then I guess we have got as hardened as them!. Stay tender. We are all different, and we...

You are really having to reach now. Something which is of equal measurements ...is a cube. I didn't learn much at school but even you know that you have no argument at all here.

Oh true..."The City" is spiritual anyway..as is everything else . I just wanted to make the point Rev 21.16 16 "And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of...

Good one...I had not 'seen' that. Thanks.

See post #56

Not my problem :) John goes on to describe in some detail the Holy City, New Jerusalem, that will come down out of heaven from God. He says, “the city lies foursquare, its length the same as its width;… fifteen hundred miles; its length and width and height are equal” (Revelation 21.16). Now...

@CoreIssue I agree I am a 'touchy-feely' person. But the thing is Core...I often don't agree with @Dave L, and I say so. I often don't agree with @Enoch111 and say so... The thing is, you have been on this site for a while now, yet you never unwind. You still come across cold and stiff...

(The one that really makes me laugh though, is some of the descriptions of the New Jerusalem ...coming down to sit on the earth. The dimensions couldn't sit on the earth with its curvature , without wobbling about like trying to balance a block a perfect cube on the top of a a ball without it...
