There was nothing said against Jesus'promises to those who come to him by faith... Particularly the Apostles. But to the nation, as opposed to individuals, their house was left unto them desolate.

Other early American leaders thought the same regarding Jesuits. Sometimes it is difficult to see the Jesuits underhanded schemes, because they have cleverly made it look like the work of Jews. Be careful.

Love and agree with everything, except the last paragraph. Otherwise, spot on.

Continued.... No longer does the Protestant church teach nor even believe as the reformers at the cost of their lives, warned about. Today's professed followers of Christ trample upon centuries of shed blood of martyrs who died at the hands of this evil. With their own blood they wrote across...

In Revelation 13 we have the following description of what Bible scholars for centuries have recognized as being a vivid revelation of the dreaded "Antichrist" , the leopard like beast, with feet of a bear, and the mouth of a lion. 1 ¶ And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise...

The Antichrist isn't an individual, but a series of leaders over one institution... The institution is Roman through and through.

It's a deadly, and in some translations, mortal wound that is healed. And remember, it's about as close toa resurrection as Satan can counterfeit. But the parallel is certainly there. It's not past tense from when John is writing, but past tense from the position from which he is viewing...

This post has some detail. If you don't care for a deeper Bible study, ignore the following. If however you want a better understanding of prophecy... Dragon/Satan. His place in heaven (Rev 12:3, 7, 8.) He has a throne. (Rev 13:2; 2:13) Gives throne, power, and authority to sea-beast...

What does the term Antichrist mean? It means opposing Christ in a manner that replaces him. It is the establishment of an office or position that times in the hearts and minds as a counterfeit...a false Christ instead of the true. The Bible powerfully indicates that this power established itself...

I think it would be a good time to quote a Catholic source, the eminent historian Cardinal Manning. “Now the abandonment of Rome was the liberation of the pontiffs. Whatsoever claims to obedience the emperors may have made, and whatsoever compliance the Pontiff may have yielded, the whole...

Just as a teaser, @Father Jim , allow me to quote some early church leaders on the subject of the identity of the 4th beast... The following comments are in relation to the identity of the restraining factor in... 2 Thess. 2:1 ¶ Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus...

A great deal of words in your post, but none of them had any biblical, historical, or tangible support aside from your personal conjecture, starting from your second sentence in which you declared the beasts, end-time beasts. Your second statement without any biblical support whatsoever was...

If its not in harmony with scripture, reject it. If its in harmony with scripture, accept and obey. KJV 1 John 2:4 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. KJV Isaiah 8:20 20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not...

48 years later I still clearly remember the moment I was saved. And yes, I was saved by the living Word of God, Who lived, died, and was raised for my redemption. Strangely enough (pun intended), I had never in my life held a Bible, nor read one. But I knew that spring evening in 1976 that it...

Yep. F2F has a history of demeaning those He disagrees with.

Even more important to get to know the author of the Bible, then ask Him to teach you His word.

Jeremiah rightly said, the heart of man is deceitful above all things. We cannot trust our hearts/mind/intellect to discern right from wrong. So our salvation is certainly based on scripture, which in turn is made known to us through the Spirit of Christ dwelling within us. There are...

Theoretically you are correct. Anything that contradicts scripture is indeed false. But @St. SteVen had a valid point. When the Reformation began in the 15th-16 century, everyone was coming out of Catholicism based on the evidence of scripture that exposed not only the false doctrines of Rome...

No, no, and several times no. You may have the timing right, but your identification of Babylon the Great and the Antichrist are incorrect. Do a search on this site for Antichrist or Babylon the Great under my name, and you'll come up with the explanations.

I think you will find that the surprise only applies to those who are unbelievers, or those Christians who are asleep. . Those of us who have an ongoing relationship with Jesus and are watching for His return, will not be surprised. KJV 1 Thessalonians 5:2-6 2 For yourselves know perfectly that...
