What and where is the Spirit of Truth? How does a man recognize the Spirit of Truth?

If prophecy is not needed and tongues have ceased, then knowledge is also vanished away... right?

Yes, they will cease even as knowledge shall vanish! "Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away." I Cor 13:8

I will hold back on your final sentence. What do you believe about these verses: "And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The...

Do you have any real friends among those with whom you disagree? Do you always have all of the correct answers to every question so that anyone who might disagree must be wrong? You seem to have no need or desire to discuss. So, I leave to your own inclinations. Communication or the lack...

So it may not be changing the fact that he died... but, even so, should we limit God by saying He cannot do something because we cannot do it and/or because we cannot conceive of the possibility? Is not God limited by His own Word? Using the authority He gave to us, do we not limit Him when we...

More prayer, I believe, is needed on this forum for one another. The darts are thrown too often with seemingly deadly intent. Where is the soft answer that turns wrath away?

@Holy999 Praying for you right now!

Like Christian in Pilgrim's Progress we may see the Light at the end of our course, which is our goal, but there is likely a whole lot of unknown and dangerous territory in between us and that Light. One step at the time as God leads and directs us!

LOL for sure!

Would that not make you an agnostic rather than an atheist? Do you understand what it means to live for God by faith? Do you know the difference between believing and knowing?

Are the unjust necessarily also unbelievers?

Have you ever gone down to the "lowest room"?

Do you know that God does not exist, or you simply doubt it?

Perhaps when you @Moonstone Eterni stop insisting that you know better than God what is happening to you and condemning Him for it... He may reveal some portion of His purpose for you to you. After Job had lost all of his material goods and all of his 10 children had died, then his physical...

"... I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Jesus! [per John 14:6]

The faith of the one who hopes for the right things according to God is saved! "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."Heb 11:1 What do we not see? What do we see? Where is the eyesalve? "I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire...
