Great verse too. There are many. Some prefer to ignore them and believe Jesus is a man. §Basically, they're worshipping a man ! I think that's called a CULT.

If this is what you believe,,, then you should stop posting to me immediately... if not sooner. There may be another purpose... but you don't seem to know it.

Apparently there's a problem within Christianity Gary Mac. We are instructed to walk in the spirit and not in the flesh. We are taught that we should be careful not to lose the salvation we have gained. We are taught not to sin. Basically, we are taught to BELIEVE in Jesus. §Do we all agree...

A veil is a covering. OK Now what is the covering?

The vine is not the problem. The vine gives life to whoever wants life. The problem is the branches that DO NOT bear fruit. If the branches are IN CHRIST.....they should be producing fruit. But some,,,,on these very Forums, state that it is not necessary for us to bear fruit. But...

No one is shut away from the world Treeline. Have you ever visited a Sanctuary? I don't think so. They have to grow their food, depend on others for some things... keep up their bldg.... deal with the same problems we deal with. They wake up at 5AM to pray,,,some even earlier. They devote...

Jesus ALWAYS existed. HE IS GOD. WHAT/WHO was in the burning bush?

It's always useful. Heresy must be countered.

Gary I replied to your verses up above. WHY do you just keep repeating them? Have you nothing better to offer? Now could YOU please reply to my post? John 1:1 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 14And the Word became flesh Here is...

It's good to know that you accept the teachings of the reformed/calvinist beliefs. Yes sir. In the reformed and Calvinist theology God is responsible for what man does or does not do. Thanks for admitting this... some Calvinists find a problem with admitting this. The rest of Christianity...

How many other verses are you going to disregard Truly ! We're supposed to synchronize, harmonize, reconcile, the verses NOT disregard them.

What is "the veil" ?

The Vine is Jesus. So if it's Jesus' responsibility to produce the fruit.... 1. Why isn't the fruit being produced? Does Jesus not know how? 2. Does Jesus PURPOSEFULLY not allow the person to produce fruit so that the person will become lost as HE is teaching? It's both BF. The branches...

BF,,,,those that believe in OSAS or Perseverance of the Saints will not read scripture as it is plainly stated. So, I'll try again. John 15:1-6 1“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2“Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears...

jaybird.... I assure you that I do NOT dodge any question. Certainly not any question that YOU might have. I posted a whole page to you TO WHICH YOU DID NOT REPLY. If you call what you wrote back a reply... well, this is why I said I would no longer converse with you. IF you wish to continue...

Taken....really brother, you need to calm down because you are NOT understanding my posts and this has never happened before. YOU have stated that God gives and takes away rewards. YOU stated this in posts 2331, 2333, 2337, 2340, 2341 You even state right above that the topic is REWARDS ...

You followed your conscience and did not disobey God. Again... What do you think a work is?

Who told you monks do no works? Do you understand what works are? Do you think it means going to work in an office from 9 to 5?

I don't see any scripture supporting your idea that Jesus came to us to teach us how to get REWARDS. And you should really read some commentaries on 1 Cor 3....... It's about missionary work NOT about just barely getting by so our works are burned and not US. In John 15:2 JESUS taught that...

Support with scripture. NOT your own ideas. Ooops. 1 Corinthians 3 again. Know why I know it really well Taken? Because Catholics use these verses to prove purgatory. They do not prove purgatory... NEITHER do they prove what YOU propose. Read it again with an open mind.
