Then we agree the same thing....they are coming from the same Godhead.

I really am not sure what you are trying to prove here. We do not follow the Torah, we are Gentile believers saved by grace through faith. The Torah was for the children of Israel who followed the law of Moses. The law of Moses is the Law of sin and death. Jesus became the ultimate sacrifice on...

I do not read the KJV but okay. NO I do not mind what rendering of the bible I read however, I have my favorites. I like the 1984 NIV more than most but will check out as many as possible to get the right understanding of what is being portrayed. It is the Spirit of God in me however that brings...

Cool.... yes I do.... the teacher is the Holy Spirit and not a person of flesh and blood..

Bro... the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. It encumpasses the Godhead. The Kingdom of heaven is within you and is also a place.

As per above. Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes in him by faith...

You know that the old covenant is a picture of better things to come? A symbol, a representation of the real thing which was Christ Jesus who was the fulfilment of the law? Luke 24:44, Matt 5:17

That is why God sent his Holy Spirit to dwell within believers. Not just as a seal of our redemption but also so that we can become more like Christ and less like the world. We do this in a personal relationship with him. He becomes our help-meet our teacher, support, encourager our best friend...

He saves us by grace through faith. It is not something we have have done to ave achieved this. It is a gift of God. Ephesians 2:8 May I ask, do you believe that Jesus is divine? that he is the Son of God?

Indeed this is true but you have pointed out why some Christians believe that the law of Moses does not apply to us today. The old covenant is also known as the Law of Moses. So if a covenant is new, the old covenant is passing away...

@HARK is this the point that you are trying to make across the forum ? that Christian believers whether they be gentiles or Jewish should be following the law?

I am only pointing out JbF where such an idea may come from, nothing else bro....o_Oo_Oo_O

Grace through faith is still needed for salvation and our sanctifying walk with Jesus under the second covenant as new believer's cannot apply such grace as an automatic thing without receiving him as their Lord and Savior because he died and rose again as a ransom for sin for all who believe in...

I think that we may be agreeing on the same things but the way in which it operates may differ. The idea that the law was abolished is found in Hebrews 8:13 which I am sure, you have already read. It was because a new covenant was being and has been made through Christ's blood.

Ohh.. now that is an interesting way to look at things @HARK! The law has been taken from the tablets of stone and transferred into our hearts through Christ Jesus. It is the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus who has set us free from the law of Sin and death. Romans 8:1-11 When asked...

I was reminiscing the other night and I really miss some of the old members who used to frequent this forum like Shep [Good Shepherd] Pompie [@Pompador], @ScottA [SAT777] although he does drop in from time to time. Also @Born_Again and @HammerStone and so many members who have either moved on or...
