Doesn't it change every year..... full moon equinox the first of Spring..the resurrection of the Sun god? I'll go with the easter bunnies , which also represent fertility, spring..etc. NO, I don't celebrate Easter...as @marksman said...it is a pagan feast. Adopted , cleaned up , and...

Amen!!

Oh goodness my fellow Canadian... Just this one quote shows that it is not "up" at some distance away. It is a SPIRITUAL REALM. How many times has a Trumpet actually talked to you? "Come up higher" means out of this realm and into the higher realm. So tell me..if you had a wonderful space...

Oh whoops, I forgot about you! :) Sorry for any offence ... I just found it funny that anyone should think that 'heaven' is some kind of physical planet. I see it totally in a spiritual realm...nothing physical. Hope we are still friends ;)

I just did...it is a load of codswallop!! If the Mormons want to claim it as theirs...as far as I am concerned they are welcome! ....

That sounds very RC to me..so in court I am forgiven, cleared, and declared not guilty...but then, I am not really forgiven, ( ?) and I am still guilty? How so???? ...

Can't agree. Once we are saved, there are no conditions but faith, true faith in what He has done. What is conditional is our position in the kingdom. Close or in the back 40... What conditions do you see other than Faith? That puts us back 'working' to keep a gift that were have received :(

@amadeus John can you read posts #86 - #92 between bbyrd009 and myself and tell me what I am not seeing or getting? Add in also #104 and the one of his I am replying to..thanks, hope you have time.. For the life of my I can't see what Mark is saying? ( or trying to say :( ) You know us both...

Excellent post...thanks for posting it! :)

You can't build a doctrine on one part verse.. too many many other verses against it!! That is not the Gospel = Good News. We either declare ourselves dead to sin...or we choose to hug it to our breast like the asp. Rom 6 “Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin...

I do see a difference in 'age related' also. Now I am old, I never know what needs divine healing, and what is just wore out body parts ! :D At some point I am sure God will say- " Well this old house is not worth fixing up any more...time to move." But I have also come to the time in...

The it is SIN. ( but it reads like you 'count every little separate sin' ) Jesus came to remove sin from us, the sin of Adam that we inherited. He either did that...or He did not!! If we say that He did not..then we make God a liar. Isa 53 "God saw the travail of His soul and was...

What is the IT that we are talking about here? Are you talking about SINS or SIN. ? What do you see as daily sins in the Christians? "For me" the only act of sin is a violation of LOVE, Love God, love brother... Gluttony is not sin...it was in the OT. It is stupid, but is 'love of self'...

Your post sound somewhat hostile..which is the reason I ignored your first post to me. You haven't been here very long, therefore you don't know me. If you knew me, you would know that I am a believer in healing in the atonement. FAITH ALWAYS PLEASES GOD!! In my 57 years of walking...

My bible reads- “For you ARE dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. “

It all depends on where we ‘see’ our sin....ie upon ourselves , or upon Him. If He says that He took it, are we to stand there and declare that we still have it!!!

In reading this, I think you are thinking far to literally.....our brains cannot comprehend the spiritual things of God. That is why He speaks and writes in picture image form. NOT that I have an answer to your question ....and very obviously no one else here has either. For when they do...we...

I went to a Billy Graham meeting. It all had nothing to do with Mr Graham and everything to do with GOD. Billy Graham gave his life 100% to God. He was a willing “Baalam’s Ass” for God. He was a man of prayer. He prayed , and God did the rest. The anointing was heavy upon the...
