Well you would have to do some extensive allegorizing to support that theory... his sisters, the numerous times Jesus spent in their home, the plot to kill him by the Pharisees along with Jesus. I am hoping you can tell I am not speaking about the Lazarus in Luke 16, but the brother of Mary and...

I would add that we are justified now, but not yet saved. I will be saved if I continue to have faith in Jesus. And my works will give evidence of that faith. There are numerous people, far too many, who have turned away from faith. They may believe in the existence of God, as even demons do...

I agree. None of us are without sin, and sinless perfectionism is an impossible goal. Or is it? Can we really claim that it's impossible to obey all God's commandments when He says Himself "all things are possible to them that believe"? And I agree with you that right there is the answer... To...

No-one is saved by their works. No ifs, buts. The wages of sin is death. The  only means I can atone for my sin is by dying. But my death will avail me nothing because without Christ I will remain dead, there will be no resurrection. I will have died in sin. Our salvation is wholly dependant on...

Many Christians would like to lower God's standards in order to meet their own expectations... But here you are wanting to do away with standards altogether... Go you. Yeah. There are some who do that. Like Jesus for example. When was the last time you read the parable of the sheep and goats...

KJV John 11:21-27 21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. 22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. 23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. 24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall...

I think it is important to realize the the scripture says we are justified by faith in Christ's sacrifice. That justification avails for every single person on the planet, but not every single person avails themselves of the grace available, and can therefore be lost, so Christ's sacrifice...

It's interesting, we see many such posts and threads concerning works salvation, yet I have never seen any suggestions from anyone that we are saved by our works?

"and they shall receive p power to become children of God". Being born again doesn't automatically guarantee ones entrance into the kingdom, but it does guarantee that one may receive the power to make the right choices according to God's will and purposes. These choices come at the leading and...

Jesus was baptized in the fall of 27ad. The decree by Artexerxes was in the fall of 457bc. Calvary, 31ad in the spring, gospel to the Gentiles 34ad. Using the same start time from which the 70 weeks was determined, or cut off, the 2300/years goes to 1844, and of you are using the 6000y years...

Another attempt at diverting attention away from Rome. No individual meets all the criteria that is demanded of the Antichrist, the little horn of Daniel 7. No institution meets all the criteria demanded, except the Catholic Church. Every single characteristic, every criteria that identifies...

Those are words, and I'm sure there are many more besides. But they aren't titles used by anyone, nor a distinct reflection of the meaning of Antichrist, nor a title chosen by the actual holder and in his own language.

I don't expect a response to this because such would require some honesty on your part. I would much like you to quote a scripture describing the Sabbath as Jewish, or belonging to the Jews, or even the Sabbath of Israel. In my Bible, the Sabbath is constantly described as belonging to the...

Is it, really? BoL was the one who justified the making of statues and used the serpent on the pole as a godly example, stating that such does not implicate one in worship an idol. Yet we have Hezekiah destroying the serpent because it was being worshipped... Incense was being burned before it...

You replied to the wrong post, but you are right. Hezekiah reduced what had become an idol into scrap metal. The Catholics here though would suggest that burning incense before it was merely asking it to pray for you. What they fail to realize, due to other false doctrines, is that there isn't...

And as the discussion continues, the elephant is ignored. The Catholic Church, by its own admission, did change the 4th commandment from the 7th day to the 1st, believing she had the authority to do so. There are a number of reasons why this was done and how it came about, nevertheless the...

In addition to the above, if we developed healthy immune systems, viruses such as the genus COVID belongs to wouldn't bother us as much as it does. Who didn't notice that the vast majority of those who died of COVID had existing preconditions, most of which were diet related.

When we discuss all these things, whether it's about disease, vaccinations, and medicine, I think we would do well to consider that most of our troubles come from the fact our diets are trash. We are what we eat, and we eat according to appetite and taste, rather than as fuel and health. So we...

Indeed. OT prophetic symbolism depicted local literal powers. NT apocalyptic project depicts global spiritual powers, of which the union between the Catholic church and state powers now developing globally with the support of the WEF.

Correct. The Sabbath isn't about salvation, it's about relationship.
