I am not aware of any reformer that believed the 4th beast to be the RCC. They believed the little horn that grew from the 4th beast (pagan Rome), to be Papal Rome. And with good reason.

Not just about worship. The Commandment is about resting, and spending time together with other believers. You cannot do that every day. And the Commandment said specifically what day is sanctified and blessed for that purpose... The 7th day.

Dispensationalism cleaves mostly to a futurist hermeneutic. It requires, even demands, that the Antichrist is always future. It effectively ignores 2000 years of church history. And the man of sin according to Thessalonians appears in the temple of God... The church. And as I've mentioned many...

You are looking to the world to answer a spiritual question posed in scripture and asked in the thread, who is Antichrist. The answer is in scripture. The times and laws have already been changed. And vast majority of Christians are obeying the new laws, and observing the new times. Like Jesus...

It is true that Daniel did not understand, at first, but Gabriel was sent for the express purpose to give him understanding. And that same understanding is ours if we believe... KJV Daniel 7:17 17 These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth . KJV...

Even sinful mankind, those outside of Christ? The temple of God in NT times is the church, God's true people. Even if the Jews build a temple tomorrow, it would not not will ever be, the temple of God. It may be the temple of the Jews, but it will not be the temple of God that Paul is referring...

What makes you think his fathers were Jewish? What if they were Christian?

It's amazing the amount of action from age group to mixed doubles.

KJV Luke 10:18 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven . KJV Revelation 12:7-13 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in...

And then more recently, there were warrants of arrest from all over Europe and America for the head of the Vatican bank back in the day. He was wanted for fraud, embezzlement, illegal international transactions, money laundering for the Mafia, falsifying documents etc. He was a bishop from...

As far back as mid 19th century, the bloke who shot Abraham Lincoln was smuggled out through Canada to Europe, and was discovered as one of those candy cane guards.

Another scripture taken out of context. The anointed in that context was Jesus. The kings and princes were Herod, Caiaphas, and Pilate. It would assist also if you included the reference in your quote so that we can with ease find it and not have to search. KJV Psalms 2:1-12 1 Why do the...

The topic isn't about what Catholics believe their Pope to be. It's about what the magisterium teaches their Pope to be, and what various church doctors teach the Pope to be, in this case, Cardinal Bellarmine. And @BreadOfLife , it's irrelevant where one finds the quote when the quote is...

Well, as I expected. Even Catholic source documents denied and ignored. And in desperation and panic, because he has no answers to those very same Catholic documents, places the writer on ignore. There's probably a name for that behavior somewhere but having never ventured into the studies of...

Ummm, no kidding. Totally true. But then there's this... "The [Catholic] Church has the right to require that the Catholic religion shall be the ONLY religion of the State, to the exclusion of all others... Cursed be those who assert liberty of conscience and of worship, and such that...

Well, you are correct, I did make the claim. But you haven't proved me wrong yet either, your post concerning Caedmon notwithstanding. I may be wrong. Perhaps there are examples where some obscure Catholic scholar translated the Latin Bible into the common language. But I don't know of any. You...

Yes indeed. It certainly is. Trusting in obedience to be justified is a waste of effort. Seeing you love to disparage adventists and their faith, particularly Ellen White, here's some quotes that I suggest you won't have any trouble ignoring seeing truth to you seems to be a foreign concept...

Actually, the mark of the beast is awarded to those who break the 4th commandment as a choice to follow the beast's commands rather than Christ's. Doesn't matter if it's Sunday really, or any day. It's defying God that is sinful. I worship on Sundays. And Mondays. Oh, and even Thursdays. In fact...
