I presume by truth, you mean....Truth = Jesus Christ?

@Willie T :D If this is it...BRING IT ON!!! God will at the appointed time say..." Ready or not, here I come!! " As you said...why the ' sudden' panic...we have known for 2000 yrs plus now. Nothing new under the sun.

Come on you guys...the sky is not falling...( yet) :) Enjoy the day the Lord has given you. You are the blessed. " Serving the Lord with all humility of mind. Whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; and whoso-ever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: even...

Maybe you more than others. But the test of life is...when we come through the challenge, test, sickness etc...did we come out softer or harder. What did we allow it do to our heart?

I agreed with him when he ( @bbyrd009 ) wrote about - walking into a room full of kids , and even kids 'know' recognize which spirit you, me, mum , dad is emitting. When Dave comes home from playing squash and has LOST the game..I 'know' not to ask how his games were... :D His eyes are 'dark'...

Oh don't worry about him. (I presume you mean Scarred, not scared?) Anyway he isn't either. Once you 'know his depth' you will know he has learned very many 'life lessons'...so his ministry is to hopefully point out traps set for us along life's path's. Often we don't really sit and THINK...

Did you ever hear the story of the painting completion. The subject was PEACE. In that competition one artist painted a pretty pond , with sheep peacefully grazing besides it. A lovely painting. The other artist painted a wide roaring noisy waterfall which filled his canvas. When looking...

Okay...we know this is what people are taught that they are 'saved for' - to go to Heaven when they die. And it does speak of - our "..hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil..20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even...

GREAT post Nancy! :) Glad to see you "Just sayin' " LOL Yes many moons ago ( after many anxious 'moons' /decades) I finally "got it". When peace seems absent, and God presence has 'vanished'..and we feel alone... Someone said - "So who moved?" I knew then, that He who has promised to...

indeed. :) Agree...we need reminding from time to time!

I wish that I had kept the study I did years ago on Eternal, Everlasting, Forever, aeons, ages... Then I could post with more confidence...most people only parrot what they have been 'told' and presume is right about these words! The threat so glibly thrown out about 'endless torment' for...

Agree @bbyrd009 How they love the images they have created...which even covers 'sacred doctrines' ....maybe I said before...when I read some posts I think of a line from Alice In Wonderland. "Jam yesterday, jam tomorrow, but never jam today. " Which seems to be some peoples view of their...

Like others have said...in a nutshell. "A God of our own making" ..and image of God or Jesus that we believe and made 'our God'. We know most Christians have in the belief system an image of Jesus.. Long brown hair , white robe, and sandals. The have him "stuck" in the three years of His...

I was always told that it was Adam.

Forbid it Lord that I should boast Save in the death of Christ my God All the vain things that charm me most I sacrifice them to His blood Were the whole realm of nature mine That were an offering far too small Love so amazing so divine Demands my soul my life my all Isaac Watts...

So, are you lactose intolerant ? I am not doing well...and I haven’t been on here today. I messed up my back...now I am in agony. I HATE pain pills...but I am taking them to sleep and function. Back later....

Oh good, I wondered, I will check for the PDF Thanks :)

I'm guessing that even though you quoted me , you were speaking to bbyrd009. Or maybe it was to me? It took some of us a while to 'get the gist' of what is being said ...but in fact so often it is well worth the effort. I also wish that you were on the Site more than you are at the moment...

Amen Nancy. I just wish that you could be around as much as you used to be. BUT, that said, I don't wish you another broken foot to give you more time to post!! :D Bless you...H x
