JUSTIFICATION: Before God or Before Man? Examining James chapter 2

Jesus on the cross is not responding to the gospel. What did Jesus tell those they must do in response to His gospel. Please don't cherry pick faith verses. Give al, the passages on what Jesus taught one must do in response to His gospel. Matthew 28:18-20.

JUSTIFICATION: Before God or Before Man? Examining James chapter 2

Wheres your scripture? What's wrong with wanting to be saved? If you think no one has anything to do with their salvation then you need to join the calvinist's. Acts 2:40, - and with many other words did he testify and exhort saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation You think...

JUSTIFICATION: Before God or Before Man? Examining James chapter 2

Salvation is not based on how many good works one does. Salvation is based on that one cannot live up to Gods standard of righteousness therefore we must be saved by grace. Grace does not cancel out obeying Gods commandments. God saves those who obey Him. But the obedient works we do by...

JUSTIFICATION: Before God or Before Man? Examining James chapter 2

Are you teaching if you don't love others only believe in the death, burial and ressurection of Christ you will be saved? The gospel is the death, burial and ressurection of Christ, 1Corinthians 15:1-4. But that is not the response to it. Look at Peter's gospel preaching in Acts 2. He preached...

JUSTIFICATION: Before God or Before Man? Examining James chapter 2

Good. Thank you. Nowhere does James teach faith alone justifies in this quotation. But at least you used the Bible. btw, I'm dead serious about the 1,000 dollars for giving a verse that teaches faith alone puts us IN Christ where ALL spiritual blessings are given. Since you have proven your...

JUSTIFICATION: Before God or Before Man? Examining James chapter 2

All you are doing is dodging. Quote the word of God teaching in James 2 that faith alone justifies. We are discussing the word of God. Frankly I don't care about one man's think so's. I only am persuaded when a man says what the context is and then proves it by quoting the word of God. You...

JUSTIFICATION: Before God or Before Man? Examining James chapter 2

I told you to quote James teaching faith alone justifies. You just gave me your commentary again!!! You are proving me correct. You cannot prove that James teaches your gospel by allowing James himself to teach it. Try again Dan. James 2:24 ;2:20, - but wilt thou know O, foolish man that...

JUSTIFICATION: Before God or Before Man? Examining James chapter 2

YOU JUST CAME BACK ON HERE TODAY TO START THIS AGAIN WITH ME, LOL. Your claims are empty vain words. Quote James teaching faith alone justifies.

JUSTIFICATION: Before God or Before Man? Examining James chapter 2

Since you failed to quote James teaching your gospel I'll discuss water baptism. You have two baptisms in your gospel. Jesus' gospel only has one, Ephesians 4:5, - One Lord, One faith,  One baptism I hate to call you a hypocrite Dan but you are. You are teaching on baptism yet reject that...

JUSTIFICATION: Before God or Before Man? Examining James chapter 2

This OP is about James 2. You claim James teaches faith alone salvation in James 2. Quote James teaching your gospel? Your silence speaks louder than words.

JUSTIFICATION: Before God or Before Man? Examining James chapter 2

You must first believe John 3:18. That belief must obey to be saving faith, John 3:36. If one is baptized but does not believe that Jesus is God and that He rose from the dead. Their baptism is not found in the gospel of Jesus Christ therefore vain/worthlesss. Use common sense. You just...

JUSTIFICATION: Before God or Before Man? Examining James chapter 2

Dan, I'm still waiting for you to quote James with no commentary of your own. Still waiting for you to quote James saying faith alone justifies. You claim James teaches this. You have yet to prove it. Also Luke 18:9 is teaching on those who rejected Jesus' counsel. These are those that rejected...

Would you be interested in teaching more in-depth on this subject? Doesn't have to be too deep. Just a little more information explaining the differences between the two? Thanks

Paul's Defense of The Faith(Gospel): Justification By Grace Through Faith Apart From The Works Of The Law Of Moses

Titus 2:1, - but speak thou(Titus) the things which become sound doctrine Paul's teaching in this article is Galatians 4:21-31 known as Paul's allegory. Paul references these old testament verses in Galatians 4:21-31: Genesis 16:1-18 ; 21:1-21 ; 22:1-19 ; Isaiah 54:1 The purpose of this...

Is it possible to lose salvation?

Yes and true faith in Jesus will do His works, which are His commandments. Saving faith is the faith that works the new testament commandments of God, 2Thessalonians 1:8, - in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that no not God and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ

Is it possible to lose salvation?

Romans 11:6, 7 - and if by Grace then it is no more of works(law of Moses) otherwise grace is no more grace but if it be of works then is it no more grace otherwise work is no more work - What then  Israel hath not obtained that which he speaketh for but the election hath obtained it and the...

Is it possible to lose salvation?

Sir, you have wrongly divided the Scriptures. Faith itself is a work, John 6:28-29

Is it possible to lose salvation?

Works in Romans is the law of Moses. Old testament law keeping absolutely cancels grace if you are trying to keep it during the new covenant of Jesus Christ. Context determines what Paul means when he uses the word works.
