Speaking in tongues is a spiritual gift. The intepretation of tongues is a spiritual gift. If someone is speaking a language they have never been taught and it is understood by someone who speaks that language...that is a spiritual gift.

Tongues is not a ritual. Forgive me if I have misunderstood what is being said but tongues is a spiritual gift. The Eucharist is a ritual as well as water baptism etc but not tongues.

Your nephew is correct. Salvation and healing are two different things. God can and does heal anyone [believer and non-believer alike] but you must repent and receive Christ into your life to be saved.

Well anyway, thank you for the conversation Stranger. It was nice to talk about something that we may have in common. Although it may not appeal to everyone. In some lives, it's a reality and people actually have to hunt to eat and not go down to the supermarket to buy meat. In my childhood...

We had the same problem here with rabbits, possums and deer. Introduced animals into NZ caused a major pain for farmers, the native animals and fauna due to their not being any predators. So they thrived and now they are culled at times....
