I don’t know how you inserted ‘the Lord’ into this. My statement is many Christians are over-spiritualized, ignoring the soulful needs of the body. You bear false witness in claiming I did not explain it to you for I quoted James 2: 14-17 for the 3rd time now. I guess these verses have no...

Hence, the argument. The Bible repeatedly and explictly says Jesus was a man. That's good enough for me. IDOLATRY is why it is not good enough for others, who prefer extreme eisegesis, read trinitarian dogma into unitarian text, the more ambigious it is, the more they doctrinally invest in it...

You keep twisting what I'm saying. I don't recall Jesus ever saying to people who came to him to be physically and materially healed, "don't wory about your material needs." I provided the Scripture. If James 2:14-17 does not speak to you, so be it.

"Here" meaning the online forum? Christians who avoid political responsibility are abusing those led by Christian principles. Neglect may be more precise but it is just a form of abuse. While Trump got a higher % of the evangelical vote than any candidate in history, there are some Leftist...

Not a chance! As you said. As a child I could not understand IDOLATRY, people worshipping statues. As I got into Scripture I realized it is anything manmade. The doctrine of the trinity is the biggest IDOL in Christendom, wholly absent in God's 66 books. Yet, there are devotees of this 4th...

Always, God's anointed are abused by the religious establishment. The most Pro-Life President in American history is not acting contrary to God's will, Thou Shall NOT murder!

Of course I am still focusing on the material as I have material needs! Just because I have material needs does not mean I don't put God first. Jesus put God first but also focused on people's material needs. By definition, overspiritualization means ignoring these needs in violation of James...

Trump is the greatest POTUS since the Founding Fathers. I was his top 1% of donors and told him many times that I am with him to the end, no matter what end. He is anointed by God and proof is the miracles. First, defeating the witch in 2016 who had 8x the money and 8x the staff. 2nd...

Because people have physical needs that need to be met. Shaming that nature as fleshy or what does not reflect Christ who constantly tended to people’s needs; healed the sick, made the lame walk, gave sight to the blind, cured diseases.

Sorry @MatthewG, I have to respond to this. (Maybe just ignore it) … Totally wrong. Re-read Deut 18:15-18. The man chosen among the people of Israel is affirmed to be Jesus at John 1:45. God chose this man to put his words in his mouth. This is the meaning of the word (of God) was made flesh...

This is the most illogical post I have ever read.

Agreed. I find it off that people would post in a thread they fundamentally disagree with the OP premise that is NOT asking to debate that basic premise. The role model of Christ is a function of his humanity. As the story goes, this man was baptized resulting in the HS coming upon him...

So, when Scripture reads “there is only one God, the Father,” you take that as proof the trinity goes against Scripture.

I’m sorry but what you said in red is not true. He brought up a take that says Jesus cannot give in to temptation based on a 4th century manmade IDOL. It’s a bit of a word play to say Jesus can be tempted but cannot give in to the temptation. That’s just a complicated way of saying he cannot...

Repeating the lie does not make the trinity in the Bible more. Projecting. Why don’t you show me how honest you are by jettisoning the personal attacks and responding to this post point by point. Then you post nothing that states Jesus is God. Of course, you read what you want into these...

No verses Jesus was God. God’s words have authority, yes. But words are WHAT’s not WHO’s. God is a person, the Supreme Being, and while his words carry weight, they are an attribute not a different person from the person they came from. Further proof Jesus is not God. God cannot be tempted...

A great example is how Houtos means the preposition ‘this’ and not the pronoun ‘he’ in John 1:2 as it was in 6:60. Doing so is a deliberate manipulation of text to better appeal to the trinitarian IDOL. https://www.christianityboard.com/threads/houtos-means-only-this-john-6-60-1-2.50433/

What other option is there besides legally? Hasn’t the debate already begun? On the contrary, the author of The Art of The Deal, a best selling business book for decades, is outstanding at diplomacy. In the book, he emphasizes the importance of establishing a negotiating position. NATO and...

Agreed. John Adams said, “Our Constitution was made for a religious and moral people. It is wholly inadequate for any other kind of people.” Corruption is on the rise as Western Civilization declines. The only thing that can stop it is a Spiritual Revival.

Speaking of history, there is precedence. Texas secedded from Mexico, then as a sovereign State, became part of the USA.
