I didn't say it was, junior.,. Being born again is NOT the issue. It's whether or not you commit spiritual suicide.

    Once Saved Always Saved

Correct - but you can DIE. And that is what happenes to an apostate person. Tell me - HOW does a person become "apostate" if it is "impossible" to become apostate??

Through the power of CHRIST. Can YOU tell me how an 8-day-old infant can enter a COVENANT with God? This is precisely what happened in the OT. By the way - a "Covenant", by definition is an "solemn agreement between 2 or more parties."
  4. BreadOfLife

    Once Saved Always Saved

WRONG. The Bible says it's a process . . . The Scriptures assure us that we as Christians are ALREADY SAVED (Rom. 5:1, 8:24, Eph. 2:5–8) This is Initial Salvation – God give us the initial grace to believe. However, because Salvation is a LIFELONG process – it ALSO says that I am BEING SAVED...

    Once Saved Always Saved

And Scripture DISAGREES with you. These are ALL written to born-again CHRISTIANS as a warning to NOT fall back into darkness or they will LOSE their security . . . Romans 11:22 “See, then, the kindness and severity of God: severity toward those who fell, but God's kindness to you, provided you...

    Once Saved Always Saved

OBEDIENCE. Cooperation with God's grace is obedience. NOT cooperating with His grace is DISOBEDIENCE. Good luck with that . . .
  7. BreadOfLife

    Once Saved Always Saved

What do you mean?? I DID receive salvation at Baptism. I DID receive the cleansing of Original Sin at Baptism. I DID receive the quickening of spirit at Baptism. You're not making sense . . .
  8. BreadOfLife

    Once Saved Always Saved

It's not about "earning" salvatipon. It's about being OBEDIENT to God. Matt. 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, BUT ONLY THE ONE WHO DOES the will of my Father who is in heaven. Good luck being disobedient and trying to get into Heaven . . .

    Once Saved Always Saved

Tht's because you don't know how to properly divide God's Word. Time for a Bible lesson . . . In John 3:5, Jesus tells Nicodemus HOW a man is born again - of WATER and the Spirit. - In chapter 1, we read about the Baptism of Jesus - and WHAT do we see?? WATER and the Spirit. - In chapter 2, we...
  10. BreadOfLife

    Once Saved Always Saved

WRONG. That's ONLY if you cherry-pick the Scriptures and you usually do . . . Here are somne of the conditions listed in the verses that YOU ignore: Mark 16:16 He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned. John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man...
  11. BreadOfLife

    Once Saved Always Saved

Ahhhh - so you're one of those ignorant people who doesn't understand that "in the NAME of" simple means, "by the AUTHORITY of". That is a fairly NEW heresy, by the eway. Read the following scholarly linguistic evidence regarding this phrase . . . According to English Language & Usage Stack...
  12. BreadOfLife

    Once Saved Always Saved

Sooooo, in order for YOU to believe in the promises of Christ per John 3:5 and Acts 2:38-39, you would have to see an example in Scipture of a baby repenting?? What a pathertic lack of fatih in God. For people like YOU - with God, ALL things are possible (Matt. 19:26), except for: - Endowing...
  13. BreadOfLife

    Once Saved Always Saved

Like I said - you can deny the conditions of salvation until it's too late. I've given you AMPLE Scriptural evidence to support tis - and all YOU'VE given me are flat denials of God's Word. Just remember that unless you cooperate with God's grace - you cannot hope to be saved.
  14. BreadOfLife

    Once Saved Always Saved

Absolutely FALSE. However - I'd love to heay YOUR exegesis of this verse . . .
  15. BreadOfLife

    Once Saved Always Saved

Yup, as per Acts 2:38-39. Anything else?
  16. BreadOfLife

    Once Saved Always Saved

Absolutely. Jesus said, WATER and the Spirit (John 3:5).
  17. BreadOfLife

    Once Saved Always Saved

WRONG. First of all - show me where the BIBLE makes the statement YOU just did. Secondly - the examples YOU gave were ained at ADULT converts - not infants. Jesus NEVER gave an age constraint in John 3:5 . . .
  18. BreadOfLife

    Once Saved Always Saved

Ummmm, WHO were the ones denying the Truth Jesus was preaching? Certainly NOT the poor TEMPLE (not Roman) soldier who had his ear cut off. So, the lesson here is: Act like a Pharisee - and you'll be treated as a Pharisee. Act like a brother - and you'll be treated as a brother.
  19. BreadOfLife

    Once Saved Always Saved

I was Baptized in Christ as an infant - that's when I was born again per Jesus in John 3:5 and entered the New Covenant. I was raised in the faith by my parents, just as the circumcised Jewish babies were raised in the faith by their parents when they entered the Old Covenant.

    Once Saved Always Saved

I didn't equate the comon man with the ignorant. I equated YOU with the ignorant because you twist the Scripures to your own destruction (2 Pet. 3:16).
